You must be new. I'm sharing the links. Where am I begging for votes. Downvote if they do not interest you.

Maybe, but when you've given away almost $62,000 worth of copies of your game and the game happens to be fantastic... yeah, I'm pretty willing to upvote his games.
It's only one game but it's a nice indication he probably has a pretty good idea what he's doing, enough that I'm plenty willing to give him the benefit of the doubt.
Besides, developers that interact with the community as much as he does deserve to be rewarded.

This is how Steam Greenlight is designed to work.
Developers put their games on it, then advertise them and ask people to vote for them in community sites like this, as well as their own pages and blogs.
Current influx of people sitting in front of the Greenlight page to vote on every page will pass in a week or two, when people finds a new toy to play with.
Pkeod: Please put ten screenshots on each game's page as well as a couple of gameplay videos, you need to show people of the game.

Given his history on SG of being generous and informative, Pkeod can do whatever the hell he likes, to be honest.

I don't really see how this can violate a rule, it is a gaming community. I could see if he had us sign up to do something stupid, but it's just a voting system, kinda like advertising a steam group.

I wouldn't take anything from there seriously; most pages on there are really just troll pages like "Big Nigs" and "Half Life 3" with its many iterations. I think everyone is kind of desensitized because of all that stuff, and I'll admit, I am too. I can't even trust that some games posted there are even posted by their author so I won't vote for anything unless I know for sure. The Greenlight feature is, without any kind of exaggaration, disfunctional, and you shouldn't take it too seriously. I'm not sure when Valve will take any action (if at all) to at least validate the entries somewhat, but until that happens Greenlight is dead.
Just hang on a bit, I'm pretty sure a nice sum of people will be more supportive than you expect. You gave them your games for free, it's the least to expect them to upvote something for you, though to be fair, only after they took a look at it and decided if they liked it or not.
That being said, you have my vote for both. Good luck, and thanks for being at arms length with the community! It's much appreciated.

You should create a collection for your games. That would make it easier for fans to find any games you add to greenlight. They could just favorite the collection, and check it occasionally to see if you've added any new games. It probably won't bring in a huge number of votes, but it may help.

Dear Pkeod,
I would like to ask you if the language tags are suggested by Steam or if it is something that you choose. I see "brazilian" as a language there. Sadly, it does not exist, as Portuguese is spoken in Brazil.
Best regards,
Lucky Boy

Greenlight includes both the ones who like and pay for your game and the others, your sale figures just include the former. It is like meeting the evil brother of your fans.

Hello, Pkeod.
I am sorry your games don't get enough upvotes. I checked them out and see no real reason for them to receive so many downvotes. Maybe you should give it more time or add more videos and screens. First thing people do is watch videos, then see screenshots, then read description if they're still undecided. If there's some story involved in those games of yours, like in Faerie Solitaire, it's better to show some snippets of it as well.
Thank you again for your Faerie Solitaire giveaways, I upvoted both games as a sign of gratitude.

Just an advise/impression for Hallowmorn Dungeon Crawler:
The images don't help to understand how is the gameplay or what you actually do in the game. I strongly suggest to upload more images meanwhile you don't upload the gameplay video.
And most of people are "surfing" between the games there (and there is a lot), so the text wall don't help, maybe it's better to start it with the description of the gameplay. The disclaimer at the start sounds bad, but I think it's because the attitude of the visitors, maybe it would have been better to wait a bit to enter with a better presentation. Perhaps start only with Faery alchemy.
BTW greenlight should display the number of positive and negative votes. And explain your disclaimer before you can vote. And why there is a negative vote? If you don't like a game you don't buy it, but what's the purpose on impeding to other games to reach steam? I see very dark exploits there.

Both your games look great, and I loved Faerie Solitaire! Don't take the community too harsh, they're just jelly because they can't code or make games.

Hallowmorn is a bit too early in development for me to say one way or another, but I upvoted Faerie Alchemy!

Good to see you around Brian. I'm looking forward to trying Hallowmorn Dungeon Crawler.
Unfortunately I think that Greenlight still has a way to go. I hope that Valve can develop it into a useful site, but so far I feel like there's no chance I'll find the games I want through it. Good thing you posted about your games here.

And everyone so far voting hates them. Both of the games have lower than 30% likes and 0% total likes required. I have a feeling that if we had put up Faerie Solitaire on Greenlight it would never have received enough votes - because the kind of people who really like our games simply would never spend time to vote. Reading the comments on many of the other games is really depressing. Gamers love to hate games.
Of course when these games get on Steam (not if) we'll do giveaways for each.

(For those wondering about the account site it's still in progress and we posted some pictures of it recently on our GetSatisfaction page. The wait will be worth it.)
