Also you may look on Who's Gaming Now website, there is some games for free that have trading cards.

But why bother wasting your time? If you see a topic title that doesn't interest you at all it seems to be an awfully futile endeavor to enter the thread just to express your disinterest in it.

Why do I smell something rotten in this story. :)
400 games do not get paid if it were true I'm Batman, that you're saying with GMG Playfire and other things we will not pay for a game? That's a lie beautiful and good, because the games EVERY website you have to pay with your money you can get discounts and points together but do not give you ever play at 100% discount :)
As you say you have to have points / credits GMG or other site of € 2,000 or more? :)
As I told you it is impossible that you took games without paying a dime, as I said this story stinks of rotten.
The more people there are waterfalls in the middle of your story but not to me, have you tried to do a story but you failed, Good Day Sir. :)

Haha wow. Do you not know how to read? I listed multiple income sources and a pretty detailed description of how I earn money from each one of them.
I'm not saying I got the games for nothing; I never claimed to be getting a 100% discount. I'm saying I earned them all through the use of online services that allow me to buy them without spending any of my "real" money out of pocket.
But hey, if you think that I made all of this up then you think whatever you want. I honestly couldn't care less if you think it's all fake. Not sure what you think I'd have to gain from it, but I'm not going to waste my time trying to prove myself to you :P

He "paid" for games with the credits he earned from doing things. No money was spent from out of his job income if you read/
Comment has been collapsed.
LOL, he even says he used other things than playfire like selling card drops and using the apps for Amazon gift cards.

Do you have a learning disability? As I've said multiple times (including in the opening post), this last year's goal was to not spend any "real" money out-of-pocket on games.
Then I listed all the ways I made "virtual" money to afford the games I bought. Is this too confusing for you?

Intro to legitimacy checks (SG Edition):

I only install apps on my phone, nothing gets installed on the PC. Generally all of the apps from the iTunes Appstore are safe, most of them are F2P games that are trying to hook people into playing but nothing more malicious than that :) Many of them are even from big known companies like Expedia and 7-Eleven.
On Tremor I only do Tasks and Videos, I don't trust their PC apps at all and I would recommend staying clear or at least using a sandbox environment.
Comment has been collapsed.
Would you modify your original post? 90% of apps downloaded from Tremor have trojans, spyware, malware in them. Never ever download the apps from there
Comment has been collapsed.
Adware is different from trojans, spyware and malware. How do you suppose they make money from you downloading and installing these things? If they aren't making money, how do you suppose they're paying you?
If you're that concerned, sandbox it.
Comment has been collapsed.
LOL. I have reverse engineering apps from tremor before and I can assure you they dont only contain adware. I'm concerned for those who don't know about it. You couldn't even get the context right. LOL
Comment has been collapsed.
The context of what? I'll admit, it is kinda hard to understand what you're writing.
The fact that you're smart enough to "reverse engineering apps", but would recommend that he totally removed it as opposed to sandbox them is kinda confusing.
I even downloaded the Angry Birds installer and traced the installation. Care to show me where the trojans, virus and spyware are?

Granted, I'm not an idiot and actually declined the offers I could as opposed to clicking next through the entire installation.

I would like to know more about Playfire.
What i have to do to get cash for GMG?
Because i can't find anything in their website.
Thanks :)

Comment has been collapsed.
Thanks, but i meant if there is a game list, or a list where i can see how much cash can i take from this or that game.
Have a nice day :)

This needs to be sticky posted with a title No Need to Beg : Guide to Beg-Free Games
Comment has been collapsed.
To be honest, begging and scamming would likely be way more work than just earning them the way I do :P

I laughed when I saw you're in the 'Cheap Ass Gamer' group xD

How to see market transactions??? (Purchase total,Sales total, net gain). And how does playfire work??? I tried FreeMyApps and Apptrailers, but it doesn't work for me.. I gues, because you live in america you can do those apps and TremorGames..
Comment has been collapsed.
Enhanced Steam browser add-on for the Market transactions.
As for Playfire Rewards, just sign up, check what games are doing rewards and earn the achievements you need for the rewards. Each reward is time limited so you need to do them within the timeframe posted on the Playfire blog.
Too bad about Tremor/AppTrailers/FMA. I know many offers like that are targeted to certain countries so they might work much better for some people than others.
Comment has been collapsed.
Yeh, kinda sucks but they'll only credit you if you earn the achievement during their promo window of time.
If you had it completed beforehand you won't earn anything.
Comment has been collapsed.
Can someone tell me how Apptrailers work?
I installed it and there is no way to get points, the offers tab is empty, check the video / movies tabs, and they don't give points.
Comment has been collapsed.
There might just not be any offers in your country, seems like a few people have noted the same thing.
Since it's pretty much watching ads, I assume the advertisers choose which countries they are targeting so the methods in OP might not all work for everyone :(
Comment has been collapsed.
Anyhow, I think App Trailers is a waste of time. I've read a lot of reviews and a lot of people have their videos marked as +0 points and I saw people got banned after they reach $10. Heck, it won't let me even register my email to get +50 points.
Tremor Games is indeed awesome and PlayFire/ GMG kinda bugged out since I never got credited for playing games for the first time since April.
Edit: Never mind on PlayFire, it just updated with June.
Comment has been collapsed.
Really odd how it won't let you earn points at all. I've been using it for pretty much an entire year now and it's always been solid.
Maybe it's just a country thing? Seems a few people in this thread have noted that some of the methods in the OP don't work where they live :/

One of these days I'm gonna put all my cards, emotes and backgrounds on the market :D
In the meantime: the first person to reply to this post with the correct number of emotes in my inventory will get a free pick on one of my duplicate backgrounds (your post must be unedited to avoid cheating, only 1 guess per user, please also post the background you want in your answer).
Edit: mini-giveaway over, peshmi picked A Child's Nightmare

sorry, that's the numer of unique emotes, not the total number of emotes in my inventory

I'm wonder about Asian/Oceanic country, most of the time there isn't much offers, very low rate or just simply restricted.
That's my experience from PTC (paid to click), adfly and alike though.
I still don't have iOS/Android, probably good time to invest if it's working though!

FreeMyApps seems to need a FaceBook for Android users, but not for iPhone users (where it ties to the UDID instead).
Regardless, I would recommend setting up a dummy FaceBook account anyways. I got Grid 2 amongst others in various Facebook giveaways and contests.

Meh, what about Steamgifts? 90% of my games come from Steamgifts key drops and giveaways. :P

June 8th, 2013. My financial situation changed quite a bit so I decided that I was not going to spend any more "real" money on games. At the time, I had 646 games and this was more than enough that I couldn't justify using my bank account or credit cards on buying more.
I decided that from that point forward I would use "free" online money to buy games instead. This was also an experiment to see how viable this method was; after all, what did I have to lose?
The result? I recently cracked the 1000 game mark, obtaining a total of 368 new games in the span of 1 year!
In case anyone was curious, in a similar situation or simply doesn't have the money for game - these are my current methods:
Cards. Steam Trading cards are a staple in my virtual cashflow. Having a decent amount of games to start off with helped quite a bit in having lots of games to obtain card drops from. Making sure you always have more cards coming in is key, more on that in a bit. Here's an idea of how much cards can earn you.
TremorGames. Tremor is useful in two ways when going the "online money" route. First and most obviously, the tasks earn a virtual currency that can be used to buy games. Pretty simple, trade some time for some games like any other job. The key to getting the most bang for your buck, however, is taking advantage of their bundle splits. They buy most bundles and allow you to cherry pick the games you want from them. This means you can use it to only grab the 1-2 good games from a bundle or to grab only the games that have cards! Keeping a constant influx of card dropping games into your library helps a ton. Note: Some users have noted that depending on your country, you may have more or less offers available.
Playfire Rewards. It doesn't get much easier than this. Play your games, get GMG credit to buy more games!
FreeMyApps. So easy and simple, it's hard to believe it works. Download free apps to your phone and get rewarded with Amazon gift cards. A $5 card is earned so fast that I always have more Amazon credit than I know what to do with. Note: Some users have noted that depending on your country, you may have more or less offers available.
Apptrailers. Similar to FreeMyApps, except here you watch videos on your phone. Easy to just glance over, hit a video and look away - repeat as much as you'd like. Pays in Paypal which is very useful for buying bundles. Note: Some users have noted that depending on your country, you may have more or less offers available.
Trading. Trading with other users can really help stretch that dollar. Use the money from card sales to buy TF2 keys instead of games on Steam. $10 games can often be obtained for 3 Keys, which works out to about $7 when buying from the Steam Market. As well, your spare bundle keys can often be traded for Trading Cards, further boosting your total card sale profits.
Patience. Never buy anything that isn't 75% off or more. Skip the BTAs in bundles, the BTA games will show up in the $1 tier of some other bundle down the road. Pinch every penny, when earning them comes much slower you need to really make every dollar count :)
And that's about it. I want to stress as well that I spend about 5-10 minutes a day on the things listed above (besides Playfire, which I don't count as "work"), this isn't a full time job by any means :) Do note, some users have noted that depending on your country, you may have more or less offers available from a few of these services. These are just the methods that worked for me, your mileage may vary. Thanks for reading (if you bothered to do so) and I hope I might have helped at least one of you get some new games! As one last thing, here is a Wayback Screenshot of my account 1 year ago and a link to my profile as it appears now!
