Are you married yet?
Our parents introduced to one another because both were really anti-social and reluctant to meet someone who could possibly become our marriage partner. At first we didn't think it would work but similar personality and agreement from both parent's side lead to being both of us together and of course both of us are happy with each other ^^

She's not. That's why I said the reality is different. There is absolutely no reason to keep thinking games and 2d girls will make us happy all our life. The important thing is to accept one another's likes/dislikes.

The trend is declining but for people who can't find partners themselves, then it is easy to get one by arranged marriage. Of course most arranged marriages including ours have full will from the bride and groom. I am against those marriages where the girl is forced to marry someone she doesn't like. Thanks btw :)

I tend to agree with what you said, I have some reservations though. Money helps, because it's hard to make life projects with someone, if you don't even have the means to start them.
But I'm starting to think that I might haven't accomplished anything in my life yet, because I've never had someone pushing me, someone I would do something for. Or, maybe the other way around, I don't have anyone because I haven't accomplished anything yet.
Hopefully I'll accomplish something important this year and get a nice job, things will change later, maybe I'll see the world from an adult's perspective.

No worries dude. I'm no guru, I just hate to see anyone lonely is all.
I know a lot of lonely people because they focus too much on the external- their job, their car, their phone, their house, their bank account. Great people that just don't invest any time and effort in their relationships.
I know a lot of people that use a relationship as a crutch as well, and typically the relationships don't last long and are for the wrong reasons. They have money, their spouse leaves them when they run out of money.
The important thing is not to stress over it, it is good to focus on one's own self and self happiness. You have to be able to make yourself happy first and foremost, because in the end we all have to live with ourselves.

Sure thing, I need to be happy with myself. I know it. That's really the only thing I'd need. After that, I may start looking somewhere else, or maybe people will start looking at me differently.
Problem is, it's hard to feel good when people (mainly females) don't even speak with you, be it for the look, the unemployment, or probably both.
I'm sorry, I shouldn't have posted this, my problems should only be mine, no need to annoy people.

It can be difficult and awkward but sometimes you just need to inject yourself into the conversation. I mean, if someone doesn't want to speak with you because you don't have money/job or have great looks, then they can go fuck themselves anyway, right? Aint no one got time for that.
That's the thing, really. You can't let others get you down, otherwise it can spiral pretty quickly. I've had some dry spells in my life and they always felt hard, but looking back what got me out of it was truly not giving a damn about what people thought, instead focusing on myself. You don't need to be overly assertive or overly/fake confident to handle a rejection, you just need to make sure that you don't let others have such an impact on you that it controls your life. Just get back on the horse and try again.
It is easy to be hard on yourself, we are always our own toughest critic. You don't need to be Brad Pitt, you just need to be happy with yourself, and that self confidence will show itself in subtle ways that will attract others. =)

I don't let others let me down. I can live without women, don't have any problems, I only need some friends for drinking and playing cards together from time to time. It's my life itself that lets me down... for now. I'm starting to get my life on the right track (pun intended). If I manage to get to the end of the path, that is.

Hi everyone,
Last month has been a very important and happy stage of my life. Yes, I have gotten married (^_^). Even though all these years I have acted like a weeb and not interested in 3d girls, the reality is totally different. And I hope everyone gets to find their loved one soon if they haven't.
To celebrate I have a small train and sorry if I can't arrange a bigger one for my special occasion.
