Family sharing being removed by devs in many games. Or the fact that people who abused the system and played great games for free are whinging that it's been removed instead of getting a copy off a sale and enjoying it unhindered. Are real family members suffering or losing out?

Fair. Devs have a right to sell more copies.
It's a blow to my right to play free my friends games. Devs are way too greedy now.
Whut I care? I accumulate games, play nuthin, and just level up! Cards! Cards! Cards!

yeah when you have friends who you trust, then it's no problem to share the account. and family members the same

Hold up, did something change with the Family Sharing just now?

Family sharing was useless to me from the get go. Setup so family accounts inside my house can play games from my library... But ofc, if I touch a single game in my library, they can't play a different one. I could understand me and a family shared account not playing the same game at the same time, but only 1 person accessing the library is a bit dumb.

Family share is great, if you buy a game you should be free to share it with whoever you want. Back in my day we used to bring floppy discs to swap or NES cartridges. You'd play your friends game for a weekend and he'd play yours. Couch multiplayer ruled and friendly gaming was abundant. Piracy on the other hand isn't cool, that I don't agree with. Devs are probably scared that a weekend with a game nowadays will see the main story finished, no replay value or show up the huge flaws.

+1 family sharing is fantastic, a way to get introduced to some games you probably wouldn't have bought because they don't have demos!

Piracy is very wrong! Devs are staring to put a stop to it all by restricting access to things. Like Mass Effect made it so the new patch didn't apply to pirate copies. Small thing but I hope it continues and gets more serious :3

Maybe people would actually buy games, instead of stealing it... Wait, its not stealing cause its just code right? Games should all be free :/

Yeah, I wish Family Share actually was less restrictive, although I can see where the abuse could easily come into play. But I have a gaming computer that I don't allow my kids to touch, then have a computer for them to play on. I have Family Sharing turned on, but they can only play a game as long as I am not playing any other game myself. I wouldn't mind if it shut them down if we were playing the same game (1 license in use at a time), but if they are playing a game and I open something completely different it still knocks them out of their game.
