There is this.

Command and Conquer free-2-play... Can't decide if free means it is gonna be mediocre / p2w OR they are genuinely making a good game for free. Beta registration open...

If it looks as good as the trailer and works, I'll be playing it.

Its p2w of course. Also, if the last batch of C&C is any indication, its gunna be such crap.

Not necessarily, but with EA, I'm thinking that might be the case.

how is it p2w? so you can buy modified weapons? well guess what, they are balanced so even with base weapons you can have a good game

hmm, what? Its not P2W. At all. Most items that you can buy are cosmetic and all the different weapons you can buy also drop in-game, just fyi. That, and the base weapons are extremely well balanced and anybody can win with them.

Yes you can buy 'better' weapons in TF2, but at least they are all balanced AND anyone has the chance to find the weapons in drops, or craft them from other drops.

Rest of the stuff is all cosmetic. Unless you are trying to tell me that hats make a difference to gameplay except in the rare occasions where there is a full set bonus.

And the bonus hardly does anything anyway.

TF2=Not P2W. TF2 in other case would be Pay 2 Look Good.

I don't hate them any more. I hate the adverts I get randomly that turn some words of a webpage to links.

Pay-2-Win?

Pay to win and the singleplayer(co-op) campaign will be on a pay-per-mission basis except for first (teaser) mission.

Want to experience how it will be? Play Battleforge.

Would EA really release the singleplayer part as essentially a demo that you then buy in small increments the extra missions for?

I didn't think anyone would try and do that because it just wouldn't work, at least on a computer at any rate.

Fu*king micro-transactions.. makes EA a LOT more idiot.

This is the sequel to C&C generals. And yeah, it most likely is P2W. Units will most likely have higher level variants, and you will have to pay to unlock them.
