i know a few who can't. they abandoned the iphone 3G and ipod 2, they could have at least abandoned them in a a working state. instead of forcing them to ios4 and then stopping. making them slow and unusable

Same issue for me. Seems like Apple are trying to force users of older devices to shell out for a newer model.
No other good reason to lock out the iPhone 3G from their OS updates.
Also, it won't install on my iPad 1 either, complaining that it has no camera...
Shame - the original Macheist was fun and this one looks good, as does Fractal :(

I understand the limitations, but they could make a 3G friendly version.
Like the facebook app. That now no longer works on 3G, if you lose the older version, you lose it completely.

Bah i wasted 2 days of my time to make me an osx 10.7.5 hackintosh (on amd it's nearly impossible..trust me lol) just to get free Fractal. After i finally made it working, i got a "You can't open the application MacHeist 4 Mission 1 because it is not supported on this type of mac" error. Why can't anyone ever make a similar giveaway for Windows or Android? -.-
