Since it's an issue of similar title, if the winner agrees, staff may additionally instead agree to a Change Giveaway request. Not that the winner is obligated to support that attempt, but it is at least theoretically a potential third option. See edit.
(That said, while it's historically allowed, searching through past SG threads the last mentions of this allowance predate 2020, so I'm unsure if it's something current staff would consider. I'm also not sure if it would have been considered to begin with for different titles in a series, as I recall it primarily being used for titles with identical names, or for different editions of a specific game. Likewise, the OP really shouldn't have to agree to such a thing in the first place, given that they apparently received a much worse received title than expected.)
Edit: Kotor did clarify that it does in fact not work for different games (but is still active practice for different versions of the same game), in a comment below.

The key has been activated already if you mean a reroll. I don't even realized at first they were different games. It popped out just because SGTools rejected me from entering links. I hope it gets sorted in a peaceful way. A while ago I started too a GA apparently wrongly advertised, which was the base version of the same hame, so I dended up deleting the GA. Being on the winner side now I got the whole rule.

The GA creator offered something that could have been reasonably confused, so they're not going to get in trouble with staff over it unless they make a habit of getting Not Receiveds. And you've no further obligations to the giveaway now that you've marked Not Received. So in that sense, it's already resolved peacefully, and without real harm to anyone.
Rerolls wouldn't apply to this circumstance to begin with, since it's a question of incorrect game or region restriction, which aren't covered by rerolls.
As far as moving forward goes, just note that anything from here-on in is "extra", with the exception of the creator giving you the exact game listed (at which point you'd need to swap the giveaway back to Received status).
For example, deletions are fully controlled by agreements between GA creators and winners, so you could simply take the game you were given as "compensation" and generously agree to a deletion if the GA creator requests it. You could even try to solicit an additional game out of them in exchange for such an agreement, though that'd be in rather poor taste. Or, finally, you can just wait indefinitely and hope the GA creator one day gets a key for the correct game and gives it over to you.
For now, though, the matter's as resolved as it needs to be, so there's no real reason to stress over the situation now that you've succesfully gotten it marked as Not Received. If you're still having SGT issues, sync both your SG and SGT accounts and they should go away.

From the FAQ:
What should I do If I win a game that cannot be activated in my region, or if I receive a gift or key that does not match the game I won?
You should contact the giveaway creator to return the gift, and to inform them of the situation. If the giveaway creator is able to provide you with a replacement gift or key for the same game that can be activated in your region, then you should mark the gift as "Received". In all other cases, the gift should be marked as "Not Received". When marking a gift as "Not Received" it's recommended that you leave an explanation in the giveaway comments as a reference for both the giveaway creator and our support team. If the giveaway creator is not able to provide a replacement gift or key, they may ask your permission to delete the giveaway.

first of all, you change received status to not-received
then you tell the creator about this issue and then there are some options
if youre okey with it, you can agree to to either of those. but be sure to never agree to keep the receive status despite not having the correct game, ever.

they might would like to change the game name (this is possible if there is was a clearly mistake like this mistaking the correct game when creating which is the case here).
It's only possible to change between different versions of the game. Say you had a key for Witcher 3 GOTY, but gave away Witcher 3 base. Not between different games. Like Witcher 2 and Witcher 3.

Thanks for the help, will mark it not received and leave a comment to alert the creator. Redeeming from the phone made me miss the difference in the title, I found out just now. Of course I don't want to harm the creator, that's not a problem for me. I was on the other side of the matter some time ago, now I fully understood this type of issue from both of the sides.

Hi, I recently won a game but apparently the creator mispelled the game upon creation:
what I joined -> Swordbraker: The Game
what I activated -> Swordbreaker: Back to the castle
When I try to join SGTools GAs It says I don't pass the activation rule, because of course I don't own the joined game, but another one. How do I solve it? Thanks.
