I said this in another question, and I had about 10 people jump on me telling me I'm wrong... but the FAQ itself says that if the current price of a game goes down, so does the CV you get from it, and it's retroactive to every copy of that game you've ever given away. This time I'll quote the relevant line so maybe I won't get attacked:
"Values are calculated based on the current USD prices of games in the Steam store. If a game lowers in price, the value of previously created giveaways will adjust accordingly, and this will be reflected on profiles and levels."

Hi everyone !
I realized that my contributor level is going down sometimes after creating a giveaway.
Exemple : I was at 4.22 and two days after I am at 4.15...
I would like to know if the price of the game is a level changer in a retroactive way.. Maybe the price changed on Steam and the level is linked to it ?
