Metal Gear Solid V coming to Steam! Confirmed

Tonight's MGSV:TPP Preview Show revealed; with a twist of METAL GEAR SOLID humour, that MGSV: THE PHANTOM PAIN and GROUND ZEROES will be available on Steam, release date yet to be disclosed. The event featured a surprise message from Kiefer Sutherland; the voice of ‘Snake’, announcing an exclusive gamescom pre-order deal. Fans who attended received vouchers offering a 5 EURO discount on the PlayStation®4 and Xbox One versions of MGSV:TPP. This pre-order deal is also available at the KONAMI booth (Hall 7.1) – so if you’re planning to visit gamescom, be sure to swing by! We’ll be announcing more pre-order deals over the next few months, stay tuned.

I didn't think the series would ever hit PC this soon. I guess that makes Phantom Pain a shoe in for PC as well? (Releasing just MGS GZs would be weird.)

Seems now I have one less reason to buy a PS4...

Pretty meh. Kojima has proved to be a capitalist pig making a paid prologue of two hours like Ground Zeroes. Last good Metal Gear was Metal Gear 3.

I disagree, yes it was overpriced, but I found that Kojima has never made a bad game, I am a massive mgs fan, and loved every game so far, even Metal Gear Acid on the PSP, MGS4 is nothing short of amazing!

MGS1 and 2 both have PC versions, but I heard 2's port was really poor. I hope all four MGS games get on Steam, and I wouldn't mind MG1 and MG2 in some form.
