wow, games have come a long way

I wish those guys wouldn't do that with their networked sites. Why bother having multiple sites if the content is the same on all of them. It's not a mod.

Thanks OP, for bringing this game to my attention, looks quite good. In my opinion, it doesn't look anything near like dayz (I'm talking, mechanical/gameplay wise). Maybe Rust, but it seems more like Outlast, with crafting. But the crafting obviously fits the setting. Looks like it will be a great game, but I'll wait til it's fully released. Sad to see it's going early access, especially seeing that it's a single player story based game. I honestly don't see the point in early access, unless they're wanting to put a co-op mode in, or something.

Me and my friends have been waiting The Forest release since last autumn. Finally they are going to launch this, hooray!

Co-op is not planned for the initial release nor multiplayer. They will add it after the Alpha Release. The game will be 15$ on Steam.

It looks interesting but one thing is in my mind that why you can't climb on the top of a tree...
