Spec Ops is a fantastic experience. Pretty decent gameplay, and it does some really interesting things story-wise that it's probably best not to go into any detail on until you've played it.

Bioshock 1 is also excellent, with great atmosphere and storytelling. I haven't played 2 yet, so I can't comment on that.

It's excellent, not really the gameplay as it's just a generic TPS with some dodgy optimisation issues, but the pacing, voice acting and overall plot and message? Excellent. Strongly recommended.

Its like the godsend bundle, grab it.

Spec Ops is one of the most important games to come out in awhile. Get it.

Yes its probably the most different military game I've ever played and its very interesting.

It's awesome, i've played it through just this evening and it was absolutely great. War shooters like medal of honor, call of duty and such bore me to death but this is something completely different with an actual gripping and mature story. Quite like Apocalypse now set in Dubai buried in sand.

It's pretty ok. The gameplay is nothing special but still good enough. Most people seem to wank all over the story, but I found it too hamfisted and forced to take serious. Still has some funny moments though, and it's a good change of pace from your everyday shooter.

Spec ops is a very well written game. You should defiantly get it. It is really enjoyable yet tragic as you are faced with tough decisions.

I play the Demo and it was cool, is a Gears of War type of game. Definitly give it a try.

Storywise it's awesome, it's just the gameplay that's not that great imho. Graphics are ok

I think SPEC OPS > MAX PAYNE 3. I play only multiplayer part (cuz i hate singleplayers) - so, for me spec ops is the best game of 2012

It's hard for me to finish a game, but when I started playing Spec Ops I didn't stopped until the end of the story, amazing experience! And I loved the gameplay, I think it's pretty fun.

The game-play is nothing special. The quality of the story is everyones own opinion, but i found it to be not enough to make up for the lackluster game-play.

I will just copy and paste what I wrote the other day about Spec Ops because I'm lazy:
Spec Ops has a very interesting story and setting, but that's it.
The gameplay is absolutely terrible. I really had to force myself to finish the game in order to see the end of the story. Firstly, the cover system is complete garbage because you will randomly get out of cover for no reason whereas you simply wanted to move to the other side of your cover or even switch cover (which works one time out of ten by the way, most of the time I had to quit my cover and to run to the other one, and often die in the process). It's also a typical junk console port where each key is bound to three or four actions. You also have the great "corridor feel" in this game because there are invisible walls absolutely everywhere and of course you can only jump where the designers decided you were allowed to do so, with a nice contextual action key to press. sigh

Concerning Bioshock (only the first one, I didn't play the second instalment yet), I would say it has more or less the same strengths and suffers from similar problems. As in, the story, the setting and the art style are very good, but the gameplay is really average since you'll have to empty at least half of your magazine to kill even the weakest enemy in the game. The hacking mini game also becomes boring very quickly.
