It seems a strange date. Why after Christmas?

First of all, why would Microsoft "announce" the games release date? They aren't developer... publisher... anything.

Second, why would Microsoft announce the game's delay (remember, Rockstar OFFICIALLY said Fall 2014... not Winter/Holidays/Christmas)?

Third, what're the odds Rockstar would choose the popular retailer "we don't know the release date, so let's just put something" date to release their game?

It's just a placeholder, game will come in November or will have a delay. But probably there will be no delay, because there are more and more evidences that GTA V is done.

Nobody would ever release a game on December 31st when they can just as easily rush for a christmas release.

Well, it's not like R* never screwed PC players. Won't be surprising when they announce "we were talking about superior consoles version, you'll get your rubbish port in a year, but hey, lighten up, you can give us $50 for console version and then another $50 for PC".

NEED AN OFFICIAL DATE..Look pn Rockstar website not on other stupid websites..
When a release date will be knows will appear on steam...so stop posting every link you see..

Played it on xbox so not a big deal most likely be a bad port like gta 4

I gurantee they will not release 1 day before the New Year, who the hell would do that? It's stupid. If it doesn't come out before Christmas it'll probably come in Jan/Feb.

If they force GFWL in GTA V, I won't buy it. Period. I had enough with that crap.

That link doesn't load for me and why isn't there any official announcment anywhere on gamespot, youtube or ign or whatever? I wouldn't be suprised if it's fake.

its a placeholder date, it would be super stupid to release a game on such a date, expecially a retail one...

If the game is more then 30 E is not worth it because Rockstar sucks...They launched for Xbox 360 and PS3 ....And after 1 year and a few mounth they decide to launch on PC..Even 30 E is too much..

Thanks for spreading half-truths. You could at least put it in the description that it's a placeholder. Also, that site is full of grammatical errors, why would anyone trust it?

Why do people keep thinking it has GfWL, it doesn't even say that on any of these pages and the logo on the cover is only for Games for Windows.

If you go to IGN and scroll a bit down, on right side you'll see Popular Games Coming Soon and next to GTA V it says October.
