On other news, downtime shifted giveaways by 12 hours. This means that each giveaway, which were designed to end at good time for me, now end at not so good time. This will likely cause around 8 hour delay before I can check the winner because of my daily schedule.

I thought about creating a giveaway based on zero wins and age of registration. For people who don't jump on every giveaway but still haven't win anything.

Look at this list* and pick a game you would like to be gifted. Last missing picture is for Trine Franchise. For now, I would put requirements somewhere around 8 months but that depends on voters. So reply to this message with your vote and I'll create the giveaway once a slot is opened.

*Notice that some of those games are already in being gifted in current giveaways.

If number of valid entries is low, I have added a list of them along with the ticket. Moderators might do checking of their own but I am not certain of this. In previous cases moderator has replied when new winner is valid.

It is likely that with current implementation, moderator has to press roll button until valid winner comes along and cannot e.g. select entries to choose from. If there would be only few valid entries and e.g. hundreds invalid, this could take a while. Hence it would be nice that people wouldn't enter just for fun even if you know that you cannot win. This is speculation from me as I have never heard how it is really done.

Most likely the biggest bottleneck at the moment is that there isn't that many moderators and the few are quite busy with other priorities. Thus it might take some time before someone is able to answer that ticket.

Previous re-rollings were handled quite fast but if all of these take long time to solve, I might have to end doing these or think something else. Winners shouldn't have to wait and neither should the moderators be excessively burdened.

It is nice that some people got enjoyment from this. Shame about those who have to wait for re-rolling, especially now as there might be no one doing them.

No it isn't if you broke the rules to gain it. Though I might now receive quite nice stream of red marks in my profile. Time will tell.

I'll quote the description from the giveaway: 'Requirements: zero wins and 1000 or more giveaways entered.' You had at that moment 309 entries which is less than the required 1000. As you did not meet the requirements, I'll have to re-roll it.

There is no regret but I doubt that I will be doing more of these if I cannot somehow improve the implementation.

I tried to keep the thread on the first page for the first couple days before giveaways started. You can still hop on to the last one as it is open for 10 hours.

You made every effort to make a fair, honest, decent giveaway for those verteran unluckies.
Perhaps, if you decide to try again, you can utilize the quiz technique that a lot of other people are doing.
My only request, should you decide to do that in the future, is not to make an obscure quiz, but one designed to filter out dingbats who don't read.
