Hello, just saw the indiegala bundle and would like to know the difference between the bundle you buy for yourself and a gift bundle for someone else? going to see if a friend of mine can get it for me. thanks

Nothing at all in terms of content of the bundle itself. But next week, during Happy Hour, you'll want to select GIFT to get additional freebie bundles.

Just edited by clarity. You have to pay above the price stated. Happy Hours are only found in the second week on. I seem to recall that there are sometimes games that unlock in the second week ... if you buy in the first week, but I'm not seeing anything mentioned on the website this time, so maybe I'm getting my bundles mixed up.

A non-gift bundle will be tied to an IndieGala profile/user id, which can have multiple bundles if you bought them with the same profile. A gift bundle is a separate URL, so they don't have access to your profile. If you care about Gala Points, only the profile where it was purchased gets them.

nah, do not care about points, just wondering since when I read about the gifts it said that only the one below the average does not get the extras so I was wondering how to specify both as above the average. that is all

Some Steamgifts users have noted that it's not a true average. I think if you wait towards the latter half of the second week, the "average" goes back down to $4.99. Price during the initial Happy Hours is often (allegedly) artificially inflated to $7.50.
