Was it easy?
Honestly, kinda. I used to consider myself a fan of puzzle games, but the sheer overwhelming number of them where the challenge is trial-and-error or the game simply not giving you all the info you need has made me blacklist the genre unless the game is free.

Maybe? I've gated a number of GA's behind puzzles but I try to make sure it's relatively straightforward to figure out. I did a CYOA thing a while back and hid clues to a non-bundled gib inside the text. It was a fairly sizeable chunk of text so the hidden gibs were more a reward for putting up with my crap than a puzzle lol. I love Jigsaw puzzles too but with the auto-solvers it's not a great filter anymore. I also tend to skip the relatively larger ones, especially if it's of similar color because those can be very hard on the eyes. I tend to not bother with anything more complex.
I also quite enjoy puzzles in my games too if they're well thought out and not breaking the overall flow of the gameplay. With that said, I don't really go out of my way to play puzzle games specifically. It's not my first pick but on occasion I do think the genre can be fun.
Thanks for the gib!

In general yes. Becz they are the reminders of how dumb I can be.🙃
Based on your experience, Dredge seems interesting!
Edit: Also sorry to hear about your hamster. Your cat looks sweet

Kind of? Simple puzzles are fine but whenever they start getting complex beyond a certain I alt tab to a walkthrough.
Case in point, I have no idea what this is. Can't even tell if the pic is a red herring or not. And so I give up.
Honestly... it's not you, it's me.
Also, bump.
Edit - Nvm, it wasn't me.

Oh, that was something.
What a great feeling when you've tried everything, but you didn't give up and achieved your goal.
Bump.

I'd say I enjoy SG puzzles overall. Racking your brain and trying to figure out what the OP meant while avoiding all the red herrings can be challenging at times, but it's really rewarding when it finally 'clicks' for you and you finally piece it all together.
I know it's really hard to make a proper puzzle, the line between too easy, just right and guess what the author was thinking can be incredibly thin so I really respect everyone trying to turn them into a fun event for the whole community!
P.S.: Since you mentioned you're more of a cozy player, you might wanna check out our Cozy Gaming Corner for some cute animal pics, cozy game recommendations and GAs!

It is very interesting to see the different forms of GA's. I am trying out this way as well. I have seen some and have completed some and some definitely make my brain hurt. And I definitely forget that end slash a lot. The GA is for DREDGE. I really liked it. I have subnautica but have not touched it yet. I was originally afraid I couldn't play DREDGE because I'm more of a cozy player. When certain events happened in the game tho instead of covering my eyes, I would think 'this is really cool'. So I hope whoever wins this will think it's really cool also.
Also, I hope I created this the right way, lol.
SOLUTION: Italicized text spells out gimmick which means "a trick or device intended to attract attention". My picture of my cat has the scrambled letters that spell out KITTY. Both were meant to serve as a distraction because if you hover your mouse pointer over my picture, the code pops up! Thanks for all that entered!
This is my cat. (´。・v・。`)♡
