Your guide sounds like a fucking beach vacation in the Bahamas.
And you misspelled coconuts.

You write about the story, gameplay etc. listing pros and cons in your opinion.
Bugs and glitches can be included but you don't need to describe every single one, just point it out generally.
What is the developers trying to make you feel and how they are trying to achieve that or how they could improve upon it.
A general overview of the mechanics of the game can briefly explain the type game

Thank you Llama, I will give it a read while I drink this Diabolical IPA and cook this Bacon wrapped Steak.

don't have the game but seems good enough unless you missed some hidden treasure or something.
also add more titles/ numbers to add structure as it'll be easier to findtitles later than paragraphs

When I saw that ur writing a guide I tought it is about how to get to lv 10 faster. Lol xD

You use commas in awkward breaks of dialogue. Think of a comma as to be used to pause a sentence. Read it as such and then see what I am talking about. Even the initial description has breaks of text (commas) that make it uncomfortable to read. Imagine reading it out loud. Or even don't just imagine, actually read it out loud.

I will only edit that Diabolical IPA tastes the exact fucking same as Dark Horse; Crooked Tree IPA. This is bullshit. I now want to go drown myself.

It felt a little wordy to me. I like my guides to be glib with smart quips
Instead of "Now let's do this"
simple make it an order
"Do this"

I like the helpful screenshots.
Many guides do not have helpful screenshots.

Look, you should have included the part where you drove a fucking boat out to sea, bashed your wife over the head with the paddle and fed her to the sharks. Then you whip out your phone and make an insurance claim in her name.
Subsequently, you went back to the beach to have some cocktails and met some French tourists. You proceeded to gangbang them under a coconut tree.
THE END.

My aren't you in a pickle. I relish these threads. If youre hurt you'd better go to a mayo clinic. At least if they have to amputate your kumquats you won't need a condomint. Ill wait before posting again so you can ketchup.

This game seems to be just like The Forest but in an island setting.

I really like the Forest but I havent played it in a while since every update breaks my save.

Honestly, I enjoy Stranded Deep more. The Forest has come A LONG way since it first hit EA. But it has not come far enough. 30 minutes and you have done everything.
In Stranded Deep, you won;t get half way there in 3 hours. and it is barely into first stage of EA.

might as well... drink more? Do we drive you to drink?

I think Salt is more interesting than this. At least you get to play as Jack Sparrow in Salt.
Although The Long Dark seems to be the more popular of the three.

So I decided, after being confused by the ones available, to write a guide for Stranded Deep. This is the first guide I have attempted to write, and I would like to know if I am on the right track. What do you look for in a guide? Do you want concise facts? In depth explanations?
Keep in mind that I have literally spent about 7 minutes writing this, and it is very crude, I am just looking for advice on what people like in a guide, so I can take it in the right direction.
