Wow, I really liked reading your reviews. Once I started reading 1 review, I kept going and going X)
Happy gaming and reviewing :)

I only have 3 reviews, but I'm pretty wordy at least a couple paragraphs. Lately I discovered formatting styles, so I tried to incorporate them, too. You can check out my review on "one way heroics". I am proud of how that one turned out (^^)

I enjoyed reading some of your reviews as well :) Hope you keep on writing. I'll keep trying to perfect my writing, too ;)

I currently have around 70 reviews and more coming, feel free to add me if you want :)

I migrated off of Steam as it didn't have enough characters for me to put all my thoughts in. I won't advertise the site, but I spend a great deal of time writing reviews for it.

He just told you he is not going to give you the site in this forum. (He is following our rules.) Try asking him for his name, instead, so you can look him up with a Search.

I think I'm at somehow less than 600, but unfortunately I'm going through some hard weeks for what concerns family issues, health and so on and these days I'm not that able to write as many reviews as some months ago ç_ç Anyways I always try to make them thorough, funny and most of all helpful, since I tend to review indie/small games that have few English reviews (I've never studied English, I'm Northern Italian, but I write only in English since I'd like to be able to help the highest possible number of players and potential customers) =)

Check out the Steam Reviewer's Guild, a club for Steam reviewers, amateurs and pros alike.
While you cannot be a member without being a reviewer yourself, it's a good place to find many talented reviewers on Steam.

Considering he's not allowed to join (and therefore I'm not recruiting him), how can this even considered recruitment?

I apologize for being too succinct. I actually made two points at once, there.
I'll even throw in a third point for you, just to be thorough.

157 here.
I prefer to write in English because I don't have much opportunities to use that language and it kind of helps me to not forget everything. But if I don't see any review in my native language or if there is something f*cked up with translation I choose polish.

I only have 40, and not particularly proud of them. I usually write a review when I feel like spilling my thoughts/concerns/appreciation towards a game somewhere, but I don't want to spam a chat with it - In other words, I'm far from a "professional" reviewer.
Just curious, why do you want to be friends with people who have written lots of reviews? I assumed perhaps because you'd want to see reviews in your activity as they are posted, but that doesn't really make sense since you might stumble across people who used to write reviews but don't anymore.

it's just that when you happen to have lots of friends with reviews, you are likely to have something to look at when you consider buying a game that people don't usually play. Also, every each reviewer has his/her own taste so when you are familiar with him/her, the review gets more meaningful than just random reviews. so that's why... and you shall be proud of your review because it's well written lol

Makes sense - Thank you for taking the time to explain.
Best of luck with your "hunt". ^^

Huh, no idea. It's possible that the majority of reactions are from people in my friend list, if anything.

Well, I have plans for starting my own curator these holidays and trying to review 100 of my completed games before the end of the year, but I'm not yet able to say if it will actually play out well or if I abondon the idea midway through, because of some reasons I haven't considered yet ;)

would have loved if there were more reviews.. well added anyways! thx

You should probably consider asking for people who write serious reviews instead. At least 90% of 'reviews' on Steam are pure garbage and even those that aren't are often just a single sentence or paragraph that does not even try to analyze any part of the game in an objective manner. A good place to start would be simple word count - I could easily write 100 1-sentence reviews in less time than it took to write a single serious one. (Obviously not saying that word count alone makes a good review, but writing almost nothing is certain to make a bad one.)
Best of luck with finding good reviews!

It would be nice to make a lengthy review about the game but i think even writing even a word about a game is still better than writing nothing because all i want is some honest review about the game not the essay. Some bad games do not deserve much lengthy reviews and you know.. "Brevity is the soul of wit" sometimes I hate reading a long review because it seems somewhat pretentious at some point.
and I would have subscribed to some game journals and steam curators if I want only a quality review about the game.
But I know what you mean that there are some shitty reviews. But a shitty review is better than no review lol For me, if I had the feeling that I have to write a long review for every game, I wouldn't have written a single review

95 reviews, barely any one-liners.

added. To write review like yours, you gotta have a lot of stories to tell about the game so I understand

100+ reached. In my national language only (Polish).
But I create a larger one.
Sometimes also a tutorial/guide for new players.
I also post them on my website (larger that steam version due to steam limits) - (link removed on moderator Khalaq request)
I also create them in video version: (link removed on moderator Khalaq request)
(I also started to add subtitles for them - so they can be auto-translated).

Hakimodo, you should be aware that we do not allow advertising in our forum. Granted, you were "baited" into it with this thread, but you should still know better. Remove the links from your post, please.

Just a question, please: Steam reviews have limits? I didn't know that

I love writing reviews, but because I have a lot of other Steam-related activities and overall a very busy life, with close to no free time, I tend to prioritize other things to writing reviews. However, I try to write at least one per month, ideally one every 2 weeks or so. Currently I have written 101 detailed reviews.
Considering that AAA titles usually have thousands of reviews, I prefer to target games that are less popular, games that in my opinion deserve some support or (very rarely) a warning against purchasing them.
I play a lot of indie / puzzle games, therefore most of my reviews are for games belonging to that genre. Not sure if those are interesting for you or not.
My reviews are all tied to my curator.

I really love to read game reviews that people write. Is there anyone with more than 100 game reviews written on steam? I want to be a steam friend of you. Thx.
