Some people were intrigued about what happened to Marvel games on Steam like Deadpool , Spiderman games and X-Men games.

I have the answer , I read today a news on jeuxvideo.com ( see : http://www.jeuxvideo.com/news/2014/00069780-activision-retire-ses-jeux-marvel-dematerialises.htm )

The Marvel contract with Activision for digital copies of some the games ended yesterday !

Sorry for all the people who wanted to buy one of these games , but do not worry owners of one ( or more ) of the games , you keep the games you bought.

The games are no more on Steam , Origin ( I suppose ) , XBLA and PSN !

Ah , I forgot , The contract is over just for EA , for those who asked why The Amazing Spiderman isn't removed too , Marvel games made by other companies still on Steam

Non, mais en l’occurrence si tu veux poster une info, utilise un vrai site, pas jvc, d'une, parce qu'ils ne font que reprendre les infos des autres, et de deux parce que presque personne ne comprends/parle/lit le Français ici.

JVC ils sont fiables , et puis on s'en fiche qu'ils parlent français ou pas , je leur ai retranscrit l'info ( un peu maladroitement mais quand même )

Yikes, you're right. I picked it up yesterday from there "just in case" and it seems that was a good call. Didn't bother with the DLC though.

No its not and has not been since early yesterday at least. The last place to grab it had been on gamefly yesterday, but now its gone from there too.

Sadly I can find no where that had the DLC :(

Ugh. I can imagine EA / Origin cutting an exclusivity deal with Marvel as a means of one-upping Steam. They did something similar for the NFL and NCAA licenses.

I doubt it will come back. Most games never come back. The only ones that have, were the ones that the publisher/developer promised to return.

In cases like that they can actually expire after being bought it yet has to happen but was stated to be possible about 2 Years ago.

I have Steam keys from almost 2 years ago that I activated on my account with no problem last month. I think it's just a rumor.

No as long as they are on steam they can't expire but now there is the possibilty for them to expire. It is not sure whether or not they will so you should always contact the Support in those cases.

I just read Fallout will be removed from stores, too. Searching for other sources I found nothing but the first one (German). Does anybody know something about this?

Bethesda owns now the original Fallout games, and they were pulled only from GOG.com.

Given most of those are console exclusive anyway, physical copies are preferable.

Marvel contract with Capcom also expired, and they refused to renew it. No more Marvel vs. Capcom games.

I don't understand the big deal, most of those games were pretty lame anyways...and deadpool, even though people seem to like the humour in it, was actually quite average imo.
