Okay I see what you mean. I apologize if what I did only annoyed people. I just wanted to help and while I did read those threads when I saw them before, I didn't find them going directly to the point of what you should and shouldn't do regarding your Humble bundle games. But if everyone thinks those threads are more than enough to warn people about the dangers and safety on giving away games here, then I guess I was wrong.

I think it's important to notice two things have happened in response to users' inquiries:
1) they modified, although slighly, the article on giveaways in the support section, adding this sentence "In addition, due to this prohibition on selling/trading keys, we do not support situations in which you are the recipient of a key that was sold or traded to you and need assistance with that key or content (such as if the sale or trade went bad/you were scammed)."
2) they answered in a less ambiguous way to a question made by a mod of the subreddit on twitter - it's linked in the thread of the HumbleBundles subreddit.
They are moving to enforce the "personal use" rule quite strictly, but they're not totally impervious to users' comments and inquiries (also testified by reenabling of accounts which were unjustly banned). Let's see how this evolves.

This has probably been known by nearly anyone that looks around the discussions forums actively but if you never did, then let this hopefully be seen so to prevent future headaches.
Humble Bundle has been actively disabling accounts recently, and no it isn't just traders/resellers being affected by this despite what most people assume. Even people that only ever gift games are affected, especially those that gift quite a lot of games to quite a lot of people over the internet.

Most important thing: Not only you, as the one giving the giftlink, will have the danger of having your account disabled but also the person you are giving away the giftlink to. So while using steam keys is not a foolproof way to circumvent Humble's ToS, it is much much more harder to track than giftlinks, so I would think you are safer doing so, if you are still inclined to gift/trade away your duplicate/unwanted Humble Bundle games that is.
Account Disabled = you lose complete access to your account, including all the unredeemed games, future months paid (in case you are on a yearly plan or something similar), and all DRM-free and other items in your library like books/comic bundles. I am unsure if you can even ask for a refund for any of these.
Is this legal? Probably not. But this is what it is.
