Payday 2 devs made a joke about them releasing a new DLC for 25 bucks... thing is, with the unbelievable amount of DLC they released and the fact we're getting close to one dlc per week, it's not fucking funny. But april's fools never been fun in the first place.

April Fool's day is awful. The way big companies are trying to be funny and creative is so tiresome (especially that you have to double check the source and credentials of anything newsworthy you read this day, and I am not talking about obvious bullcrap click baits like the half-life3 store pages, but legit news like ISIS losing territory etc.), which is only a bit behind all the pranks that people do to their beloved on this day. Sure it could be funny to youngins' to do small pranks on people but I am talking about grown people just being mean to others in the name of pulling pranks.
John Oliver made an internet pledge to not be dicks to other people on this day, which summarizes the issue very well and is a great call to action (I'd actually even suggest to say the words with him).
