Suggestions for multiplayer games that are like CIV V

Recently me and my friends got CIV V and we might be intrested on trying out more games like it.
I saw Endless Legend that seemed intresting, anyone got anything else to suggest?

Really depends on how much need it to be comparable with CIV. Need to be only 4X strategy, so you open to fantasy or sci-fi versions or need to be historical with existing or historical countries?

I could recommend a few more but I not played those.

If you do not want to stick to 4X some grand strategy fun in MP. On these games only the host need to own DLCs and so the others who join will play the DLC version too in MP:

Age Of Wonders seems to be the most polished one, dont really like space stuff tbh, but it might be just denial and if someone forces me into playing one I might love it, idk haha.

Age of Wonders Planetfall might look the most "polished" one, but that might look so because of the graphic, as that is the newest game. On strategy games, however, graphic isn't everything and in most cases that is the least required.

Stellaris, possibly.
I can't remember if Offworld Trading Company has mutiplayer…
