God knows why i decided to check again what i was getting from one of the bundles on my cart.

To my surprise the only game i was really getting the bundle for - We are The Dwarves - was simply missing.
The banner to the bundle featuring it changed but neither the title, description or price tag- despite all of a sudden having now 1 item less.

Probably not coincidently i just received an email update from isthereanydeal that the game is now on sale on steam.

Do they have a blog and mentioned any of that? Even if the publisher is to blame from pulling it bundlestar messed up big time on my view- it was random luck that saved me from spending the last of my credit card on a wrong product, now lessened, in the most sneaky way.

Did this ever happened before on Bundlestars? It raised major red flags for me and if its not the first time i will probably won't be buying from them again. Btw if any of the well know bundle sites does/did things like that please do share so i can avoid then.

Have this ever happened on bundlestar before?

Not that i know of

Happened with Star Ruler 2. They reduced the bundle price at some point. Cannot remember if it was an immediate price change or not. In that case a mess up resulted in the game being in a bundle that the publisher/developer hadn't aggreed to and they revoked all the un-used keys when BS didn't pull it fast enough. Was a bit of a mess. https://steamcommunity.com/app/282590/discussions/1/355043117511869933/

I was surprised to discover that too. Other people who already had the game in their cards had it removed though, apparently o:
I do understand that they didn't change the price, since it's a special low price and the bundle will most likely rise to 3$ later anyway, like most of the bundles that stay on their site.
However, some kind of note would have been nice, because I was really doubting my sanity looking at the changed bundle xD

Seems this was reported 14-15 hours ago:

Just how long did you have it in your cart for? Must have been for hours, if not longer. These kind of things happening are uncommon but one should always double check before buying. I've had good experiences with their support though so I'm guessing they probably would have given you a refund if it came to that.

I have no idea why the game was pulled from the bundle though. Maybe there was some sort of miscommunication or the developer just went apeshit. Who knows. Hopefully they will issue some kind of statement. I get where you are coming from though. Anyone who might have purchased it thinking they were getting We Are The Dwarves included but didn't should be eligible for a full refund as far as I am concerned.

My bad, missed it. Its the first time i see some kind of mess happen to a bundle im dealing with so i tought it rewarded a new thread. Too much fire it seems.

Indeed, i was pondering a lot if i would get it or not- we are the dwarves was the only game i wanted and missed (the others to giveaway) - so 2-3 bundles were sitting in my cart for the past 3 days more or less.

I just removed it from cart- and it still had the small thumbnail of the only game i wanted and was almost cheated to 'buying'. Im still mad. Also because i turned away a trade with it because of that bundle.

lots of things can happen when it comes to bundle buying, i'm pretty sure just about all the major bundle sites have had issues with publishers/developers that agree too a bundle then later change their mind..

It's not exclusive to Bundlestars,, think this has also happened to HB and Groupees,, possibly even IG as well..

Good to know. Heck i got so mad i was painting bundlestar as some bad apple in my head- if that sort of thing is usual to happen then it definetly paints a different picture \o/

Goddammit. I really wanted those damn dwarves

^^ this indeed

Sorry what happened to you. I would be angry too but stuff like this unfortunately happens due to miscommunication between the developers and the store.
From my experience BS really isn't a bad apple. If you email them to ask what happened they will probably reply with a reasonable explanation.
Not that that will help you because you still won't get those damn dwarves. But I think in the long run you will only hurt yourself if you stop buying from them. They have pretty good deals at times...

//edit: With BS I meant bundlestars and not bullshit lol :P

//edit2: sometimes the site doesn't have anything to do with it, and the developer is just a jerk. I saw this a week ago https://www.steamgifts.com/discussion/tXdXF/keys-for-translations#4lZqBbl

They can remove some games from a bundle offering if they run out of key, but certainly not once you buy the bundle.
Maybe you should be more precise in your topic.
