No Steam ban. The guy himself isn't even supposed to giveaway a beta key.

I don't think Ravaged is out yet - the developers themselves were gifting a number of beta keys last week.

Most likely if he does what I think was implied the game gets removed from your account, he becomes another of the nondeliverers on steamgifts, and you end up as if nothing ever happened.

I don't see how you would get banned for a key he sent to you / provided you with.

Report him send a ticket support block him mark as not received and be happy...

Almost everything has been covered already but I'll add that it'd be best if you remove the giveaway link, you're essentially calling someone out, which isn't allowed.

scare him too, tell him that you contacted steam to complain that someone trying to scam you selling you beta key as the real game and that steam should contact him very soon with the complain number (and give him a fictif complain number. You can start a ticket to steam just to get a valid ticket number too if you want to go deep).

its still full game. i got a key from the developer and i have beta on my account but i will get full game upon release. some people dont realise this but i suppose its your own fault for giving out to him. if you had waited 2 more days you would see that you would have got full game.

Correct. No beta keys here except Dota 2. You can't get banned from Steam. That guy is lying. He's the freaking scammer. You don't pay for a freaking beta key.

All Ravaged Giveaways are beta, because the game is not even out yet...
