I am excited to announce the 4th Drawing Contest of SteamGifts

After 5 months of break, here I am with another Drawing Contest.

We held 3 contests before ( 2 by me, 1 by Mefistofeliks )

What kind of drawing is this?

Traditional or Digital doesn't matter.
Every tool is allowed (Pencil, Charcoal, Pastel, Brush etc.)

Are you a professional artist? just a hobbyist? someone who can't even draw stick man? no worries.

This event is for everyone.

What I want from you is to draw one of your favorite game or movie characters. Just don't give me some portraits just because they are cool, try to stick with "character" rule!

I don't wanna put a special theme, because that would discourage some people and we don't want this. But I am going to offer couple themes which are not mandatory but would be nice to try;

• Try to draw your character in Christmas theme ( It will be fun to see what people are going to come up with ) !!! NOT MANDATORY !!!

• Try to draw the mascot of SG "The Space Cat" with your own interpretation. It doesn't have to look like the original one, just come up with some funny stuff 😄 !!! NOT MANDATORY !!!

As I said earlier, these themes are not mandatory to follow, just some recommendations.

RULES:

1. All drawings will be sent to my e-mail adress. ( mbcoders@gmail.com )
2. In order to prevent favoritisizm please DO NOT post your drawing here or anywhere else related to this forum and Steam.
3. Please DO NOT send a picture of printed copy. I want picture of the original drawing.
4. While sending your drawing, send me two picture. One will be your entry and the other one with a little paper with your username written on it as a proof (Put that little paper on your drawing while taking picture).
   If you didn't understand what I meant with this rule, you can contact me.
5. If you are participating with a digital drawing, I want you to send me 2 more pictures during the process of drawing ( like 1 after %25 complated, 1 after %50 so on. )
   These rules are meant to prevent cheating.
6. There is no level limitation for the event.
7. As long as it obeys the rules, you can participate with an old drawing. ( You should prove that it is your drawing )
8. You can only send 1 drawing. Don't send me couple drawings to ask me too choose one.
9. All drawings must be character-focused. Props and backgrounds are okay, as long as the main subject is a character or characters.
10. Please don't use filters for the picture of the drawing. But you can play with brightness and contrast settings, thats all.
11. You can still change your entry before voting starts.

Example: "4th Drawing Contest- MBcoder"

I will respond your e-mail whether your entry is valid or not.

I will open another thread for the voting after the due date, and voting rules will be announced in that thread.

PRIZES:

• After voting, First 6 people will be invited to a private giveaway for a nice unbundled game.
• First 12 will be invited to another ( Yes First 12 includes first 6 )
• I didn't decide games yet because I want to choose a game after voting so that non of the winners have the game.
• All entrants will be invited to our SteamGifts Art Society group where I will make giveaways from time to time.
• You can participate even if you don't want to be part of any group.
