Disciples III - steam version?

I want to make a GA for Disciples3 - Renaissance (from bundlestars reboot 2.0), but now there's only the 'steam special edition' in list.
Is it going to be the same? Can I create a GA for the key I have? (couldn't find an answer in previous topics)
