Steam XP drop

I noticed that a couple of days ago my Steam XP suddenly dropped by 300 points. That's nothing terrible, but it is very curious. (I'm mildly amused that my badges page now says "760 XP to reach Level 47" when there's only 500 XP between level 46 and 47).

Has anyone else experienced this, or knows what happened? Have Steam been removing earned badges for certain games or something?

Have you also recently had a big XP drop on Steam?

i suppose so since it's claiming.....
669 XP to reach Level 65
for me.

edit: ahhh.. Draconiano's post explains it though.. ^^

I noticed it too. Happened to me as I completed a badge and was supposed to level. Now suddenly I've got another 243XP to level 65.
It seems like it might be related to the "Community Ambassador" badge, and now requiring uploaded videos to complete?

It always did, it's just they removed the Greenlight one, and the requirement for the badge went 28/29 to 28/28.
