My motivation for you is this:

I studied and finished sociology but I never worked in my field as it does not pay well and there are too many sociologists. So my dream now is to find a job that pays 800$/m or more while my last job was 575$/m.

2 of my friends studied something related to computers and programming and one is earning 1000$/m and the other one 1500$/m.

So if you don't want to be poor study hard things that are useful :)

Consistency I'd say. Make sure you set a schedule and stick to it... unlike me :P Playing a popular (enough) game like Hearthstone should be enough to help you grab some attention so that shouldn't be too much of an issue. Also, most viewers would expect you to speak while you play - can be anything really but if you're funny, that would help a lot. One last thing, make sure to set a catchy title for your streams. Something funny or random (or even clickbaity stuff, depending on how far you're willing to go) usually work. SG has a lot more successful streamers around so I'm sure they could give you some more tips :)

I've always believed that motivation, especially to study, comes from within so you'll need to want to study first before any of these techniques would work :)

1. I find that listening to inspirational epic music (or any suitable music like the "battle music" from LoL championships) helps a lot to hype myself up prior to studying and even during if you can study with music on (Not at full volume though; Just enough to subconsciously notice it while you study). A f.e.w of my favourites back when I was in school and something more recent :)

Haven't tried this but I heard Lo-Fi stuff might help too :)

2. Set bite-sized study goals with a bit of reward at the end of a study session, that helps a lot too!

I don't know if music distracts you, but I find it helps me to focus as it drowns out the outside noise.

Solving old tests is a good way to make sure that you're able to pass the exam(s), so this should be enough motivation already.

I flunked Computer Science so hard when I did my exams - don't do what I did :3. It sounds like you're doing it at a higher level than I was, so it makes that advice all the more applicable.

Well you are away from your computer with all the games, so that's a plus.
Next, you want to hit the gym and work out all those unnecessary thoughts making it hard for you to study.
For me I didn't go to the gym since I was dirt poor, so I went outside the library and did jumping jacks and cartwheels like a maniac. Don't be like me, or maybe you do ;)
In any case stress builds up no matter what you do, so a little physical exertion helps clear your mind.

So personally I've been streaming around 2.5 years actively over the course of 5 years. So, honestly, there's more advice to give than I can fit here and honestly, there's just not enough time to write a comment that long either :D

I'm not "successful" on Twitch, but I'm an affiliate with around 6 viewers on average on Twitch as a variety streamer, with normal minimums being 3-4 and maximums going at around 12 viewers. Though I've reached 40 viewers through recent raids in the past 2 weeks and also I've independently reached 75 viewers at one point (single stream, of course), with currently being at 10 subs, around 50% to my creator payout that I reached in a month or so. $75+ raised for Australian Red Cross in the last 5 or so days.
So now that I've got some stats for you, you can just decide if I'm worth listening to or not.

With Hearthstone, your high level of play means that you will have an audience. The question is how you can get them. Hearthstone is saturated, but I'm actually surprised that statistically you're in a solid game. So, what does this mean in your current case? Hearthstone's got a load of viewers, but also a lot of channels. The ratio is around 28:1 in terms of channels to viewers, so 28 viewers for a single channel. That's a really good ratio. For context, League has a 7:1, Overwatch has 8:1 and CS:GO is 10:1. So, there are people for you to catch.

How to catch people? Make sure to emphasize your skill. That will be the thing that can catch, but also something that can hold viewers. An extra thing can be also to make sure to promo card openings in your title, if you open any.

You need to have quality behind your channel. No AAA, cinematic stuff. Just get the basics going. Decent microphone, decent audio, solid video quality, but also have a decent description. So don't just throw a PayPal logo asking for donations.

Interact with people, but also talk to yourself since you'll always start at 0 people, meaning they need a reason to stay.

Take advantage of real situations. So, titling your stream appropriately can help. First stream? Make sure you mention it. People love to see first streams. Same goes for first playthroughs of games or whatever else like that. Make sure you get eyeballs on yourself. One of the biggest mistakes I made was writing relatively random titles. Wittiness isn't the thing you should aim for. Instead, be informative with your title.
