It looks like Rayman Legends or Rayman Origins

It really does, which usually would be a compliment
But it seems....worse? Can't see the soul behind the game

Worse for sure. Rayman had music, rhythm, colors and atmosphere. I didn't see any of these in that Disney trailer

Rayman x Giana sisters?
Oh wait did Dlala studios make the Battletoads reboot?
So I guess it will be ok, but not great.

Played the original Switch version. It's not terrible, but not anything outstanding either. Almost forgot it existed, honestly.

Pretty much a mix of an incomplete (and kinda lazy) version of SNES Mickey Magical Quest 1, 2 or 3 with what Little Big Planet gameplay already delivers in some art style made in Adobe Flash. If the devs aimed on something very uninspiring (and somehow incomplete because none of these are fully brought to the table), seems that they hit the right spot.
