Hey guys.

I got my father a Leatherman Wave and a nice knife as a christmas present that I will give him in a few days.

I want to engrave something into one of those. I can't think of anything right now and "to father, from son" is just too bad.

I need something fun and creative but without showing too much love as this just isnt part of our relationship.
But he will keep those items forever and it should remind him of me.
I dont have any nicknames btw.

I opened 60p giveaway for my whitelisted people. all people participating will get onto whitelist

Could be your ratio. Just a guess or a failure to read topics to see how to get on this WL GA.

I vote for something simple. Be direct and to the point. "To a Great Dad" or "Thanks for making my life better/easier/happier"
Many have already said it. If you try to be clever, it won't seem as sincere or personal. Unless you know of a really good quote that he likes or uses a lot. For example, my wife's wedding ring is engraved with one word, "Eternally." That one word says more than a paragraph could. Simple and direct.

How about "Blood is thicker than water. Your Son (Insert Name here)"
Or simply "Please don't cut yourself Dad. Your Son (Insert Name here)":)

"To the one who shows me best how to be a man"
Or something like that.
If you're not too lovely dovey with your dad, then something that shows how he's been an example for you perhaps.
I dunno.

"I'll lend you my power, as you've lent me yours"

I know, that's bad, I'm tired and have no idea, it's hard to have a quote that works and won't become boring.
