Greenlit game steam keys

So there has been a huge batch added to steam and I'm wondering, all of the games we own for Desura or got through groupees/etc where do we get steam keys from? Will Groupees distribute the steam keys or will desura (If we own it there) How will it happen? How HAS it happened with other Greenlit games?

They add steam keys once game is greenlit.

Bundler, I believe. HIB started to offer Steam keys for Waking Mars when it got greenlit.
No idea about Desura, to be honest, I don't use it often.

Groupees will update your profile page with the Steam keys (if keys were promised on the bundle page)
I don't know how IndieRoyale goes aobut that, because IR is owned by the people from Desura

Well, first the game needs to be "tested" by Steam I believe. Can take several months or longer for this. Some games that have been Greenlit for quite a while still haven't been released on Steam yet.

From the bottom of the article you linked. "As with past batches, these titles will be released independently in the weeks or months ahead, as they complete development and integrate any Steamworks features they are interested in utilizing."

For example Leisure suit larry was in a groupees bundle and is greenlit for quite some time but we are still waiting for the steam key... patience is a virtue :-)

Actually, it's not technically the same Leisure Suit Larry game. The one on Steam is Reloaded and the one in the Groupees bundle is 1991 VGA remake.

There will be no Steam key for that one. It's already been confirmed. They gave us the 1991 VGA remake and not Reloaded.
