does anyone know if aliens: colonial marines retail cd key works on steam?

I did what you'd do. I checked the description and it just said A:CM limited edition for PC but no any further info. I haven't purchased yet but the price makes me want to buy from that store. Still, the possibility of steam redeemable and regional lock keeps me from buying. I also sent the sore an email about this, and still waiting for answer.
