Game (Measurement Problem) might appear as PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGRОUNDS in your steam library.
You can download the appid and the folder will be called Measurement Problem
https://store.steampowered.com/app/534960
It has been removed from the store as of now.
Some sort of scam was going on.
Real PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGRОUNDS is here:

Wish more people could see this. Not only you shouldn't support the game, but also you shouldn't use the site at all.
Developers from Measurement Problem tried to fake PUBG and the game was removed from the store within the next 3 hours.
And DHL. net was breached 3 years ago. I know this because that's how they gained access to my IndieGala profile, dummy me was using the same password for both sites. Lost all my unused keys, fortunately for me IndieGala was nice enough to replace them.
Millions of Steam game keys stolen after hacker breaches gaming site

This is an interesting read as someone presenting themselves as being one of the dev explains they have been hacked or someone sold the account. The fact that all the announces were all in English then suddenly switched to Russian might be a good sign as well.

step 1 : do login
step 2 : hover your cursor over your nickname > "steam key" click
step 3 : find that below the game will have two tasks to do. like "visit the store and log in to facebook"
step 4 : refresh giveway page
step 5 : get steam code

I already have the game, i'm not lie or kidding the name of the game in library is: PLAYERUNKNOWN's BATTLEGROUND!
Hahahaha, also the game got delisted on steam, is this joke a cause of digital sale's ban?

Just got an invite from PUBG活动礼包管理组

He owns one game and guess what it is :)
Looks like he's spamming a lot of steam users with dodgy links.
Might be what they planned to do after the original game title scam.
Or just some new idiot trying his luck.

I'm surprised there are even any keys left after two months.
It doesn't really matter right now anyway, the game is gone, replaced with fake PUBG files. You couldn't have played it even if you wanted to.

this game got deleted from steam, i don't find it in my library anymore and i don't find it on steamdb either
i have it installed in my program files, it's 2 GB, but it doesn't show
it must have had malware or something

Like the comments above say search for "PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGRОUNDS" (might not work if you copy paste because the O should be a Crylic O) and once the game updates you now have 3 empty gamedata.bin files bloating the install by 8gb (there might be toher changes too). It's still in my library, kind of makes me want to install an older version to play it actually.
It is a shame Valve can't put it into quarantine and revert it to last known good version.

And this does present another potential issue with Steam in the future. We already know that some developers have managed to get things like cryptominers through Valve's checks, although this means that there's an upfront cost of $100 needed to even try, and then they need to hope that someone buys their game and actually installs it. Next thing we might see are unscrupulous individuals going after indie developers, trying to access their accounts, to upload malware that way. There are likely a whole lot of indie devs out there with weak passwords, or who re-use their passwords on multiple sites.

You guys only just finding out the "fake game" are talking about a game that was replaced by a hacker.
Measurement Problem was a legit, real game. This is what it looks like: https://youtu.be/2pOX8gq1h_A
Eventually, Valve removed the +1 game from Steam, that's why you can't see it on SteamDB anymore. The hacker messed with the developer's account to destroy an old game.

I even had it on my "Up Next" list for a long time, of course never got around to it; too many games, too little time ... Would be nice if Steam could restore it. (I mean of course they can, but will they?)

If you really wanna play this game, you are still able to download old depots from Steam via the console.
A detailed guide can be found here
This is extremely useful when you need older versions of games which got updated and are causing issues on your system and you would like to roll it back.
The console command to download the previously available depot of Measurement Problem would be
download_depot 534960 534961 7697622572608017957
Hope that helps, and yeah the game looks interesting and might be worth a shot.

I know (have had to do that several times in the past when devs break games with updates and never fix them... happens more often than it should.). I had originally mentioned it in my post, then removed it again because I didn't have time to find the guide and didn't want to confuse people with a mention without explanation ;>
So thanks for posting! Hopefully others who still want to play it and didn't know how will see your post!
Ah, and that reminds me, there's been another game on Steam that I bought and didn't get around to playing, and then the appid was sold and now it's a completely different game. https://store.steampowered.com/app/562690/Immersion/
Luckily there the new owner made it easy and used Steam's version system to still give access to the old one.
Why does Steam even allow that? ;>

Please do note that this game was renamed to trick users into buying. It's not PUBG. :D

Yes, you can. Visit: https://help.steampowered.com/en/ and choose the game "PLAYERUNKNOWN's BATTLEGROUND!"
And at the end you will find "I want to permanently remove this game from my account"

I have the same problem, with "PUBG" and Miner Meltdown. It's really annoying. ^^

Hey, I just noticed that the inventory tab has been removed by Valve. They must have done it quite recently.
It's almost like they're paying attention to SG topics. :D
Yeah I know, I'm slightly paranoid but also freaking glad they removed the bugged out inventory.
