Hello there,

Well, I can proudly announce that I'm in the same boat as most of you are! The "SCAMMED PEOPLE" boat that is.

Lost BL: The Pre-Sequel to this chap. Oh well, my own fault.

I'm not here to moan about it, but to announce about a scammer.

This is my first time getting scammed, so I wanted to know if should I personally contact the support of SG and inform them of this guy or?

Yeah, unfortunately, that's the best you can do. Just -rep, report and move crying on.

The tears are manly. So I don't mind.

Didn't we have a thread about this impersonator just yesterday? Btw, I noticed you left -rep to the person being impersonated. Delete it, they had nothing to do with this.

Someone got scammed by the same user yesterday.I wish you had seen his topic earlier.Anyways,This is an impersonator the real one is level 13 i believe with different badge & recently played games. s so all what you can do for now is reporting his profile to steam+steam rep.

Why those people never add me, I'd make so much fun out of them and post on SG.

Just reported them on Steam. Irrespective of whether the trade scam can be confirmed, the fact they're impersonating another user is plain to see. A big giveaway by the way is when you check the known aliases.

Having Enhanced Steam is a big help for quickly checking this sort of crap.

I don't get it, in days when people can get Visa prepaid cards very easy and many other cards they still decide going trough all this...
For example i have many cards and i decided to get this Visa prepaid, it took me 10 min bank time to get it up and running.
You pay what you want (payment fee is 0.5€ in my country for any amount) no other fees for managing and keeping your card. So you can have trouble free shopping at tip of your fingers...

They don't have a Steamgifts account, they only contact users on their Steam profile, but they do read through Steamgifts for targets. People should require that the those they want to trade with post in their trade thread first.

BTW, this asshat is impersonating someone else now.
Take caution when being directly contacted by someone looking like this.
