Is it bad?

So this one time at Steams Summer Sale, they decided to limit my account pretty much not letting me purchase anything over $4.99 now. Not sure if that is bad lol. Although, it is kind of sad i was planning to get a game or too more before the sale ended and well the ticket i opened probably won't get answered for two or three more days at the least. Spending money is what i thought they wanted you to do for their summer sale event.

You can always ask your friends to buy and keep the games you wanted, until situation with your account changes.

steam support usually takes 6 to 24 hours for a reply. however 4.99 usd is the price for most of the games that are on sale except for ea games which have a maximum of 70 percent off instead of the usual 75 percent off due to ea giving steam less sales commission

Solution: Buy keys and trade with trusted resellers. You will no doubt get cheaper prices too.
