Have not won any giveaways as of yet, however I tend to just enter games I know I would play so I will most likely not have a regrest issue with anything I win.

Why would you regret getting a game for free?

You know what, you convinced me. Played it for like 10 minutes being clueless how to use interface to build something and so far it stayed in the 'Someday' category for further examination later but it lands in 'Trash' now. BTW, always funny to see that 25% or more of my library is in that category already.

Dota 2... I didn't realise how shitty the community would be or how bad the game would be in general.

Killing Floor... I just didn't enjoy it, thought I would, found out I didn't. I later won L4D2 and asked for that to be re-rolled based on how little I've played KF.

I might buy L4D2 at some point, but decided to let someone else win it.

Secret of the Magic Crystals: because I basically agreed to 100% the game SOMEDAY. That day will likely be the death of me.

Thanks jade ...

There are games that disappoint me, but all in all I'll never "regret" being lucky enough to win one.

The closest I do come to regret is if I win a game my PC can't run. Feels like a waste.

I regret accidentally winning a game I'd forgotten I already owned, though of course I asked for a reroll.

I try really hard to only enter for games that I have an interest in and will play at some point. This has gotten easier as my library has grown, but I can say in hindsight that I really regret winning Super Meat Boy. I heard great things about it, but I really don't like the platforming in it and I suck at it.

I regret winning World Basketball Manager 2010. The game won't run for whatever reason on my computer, and I can't seem to fix that. There's not much information on what could possibly be wrong since pretty much nobody talks about the game, so it would have been better off on somebody's computer who could run it.
