"Argo" was the last movie i saw.. A bulshit story that Claims to be based on 'real' events (hehe Lies). Also, Iran is not a savage country as they depict it in the movie. They want to make the public take side with the US against Iran..through Psychological means. This movie is a tool for Propaganda against Iran. Just so you know THIS is the number of nuclear warheads of both countries in comparisson. You decide who is the aggressor and who is the victim between these two countries.

damn, iran has a pretty good stockpile of artillery, almost the same as americans and i just love artillery

And we care why WE ARE AMERICA! not a country constantly in turmoil with multiple terrorist cells and an extreme hatred of Israel.

Dude, shut the fuck up. A couple of REAL people were really kidnapped. They're alive today and recounted the moments of terror they went through while in Iran and you minimize their tragedy because they're Americans? You racist, xenophobic cunt. perhaps the movie isn't very accurate in telling how it happened or how thy actually got out of the situation, but the thing really happened and you downplay this because you're an Iranian fucktard who thinks he lives in a paradise country? You stupid piece of shit.

Umm one question: What make this thread official really?

I just watched Sicario with Emily Blunt and Benicia Del Toro, both actors I adore, and I was underwhelmed by the movie. I recommend passing on that one; It's boring and panders to ignorant people with overcooked details and story that goes on and on and on... At the end I just wanted one actor to shoot the other in a suicide-murder pact. Spoiler: It does not happen.

The animated GI Joe movie from 1987. Back when we had awesome action cartoons all over the TV. Still a decent film, though.
And I also watched the Transformers animated film from that era too. Both films are free to view on YouTube (at least until whoever owns the copyright on them gets them pulled...)

the theme music for the old GI GOE movie was awesome.

i'm not sure i remember which movie it was but it was eather Ted or Sinister.
Would give Ted a 8.5/10 Awesome movie and many good laughs :D
and sinister 6.4/10 it was a okay movie but still not the best horror i have seen, didn't really bring anything "new" to make it rememberable if that makes sense, still worth seeing :P

That's a movie I never would have chosen to watch, but the other people in the cabin wanted to watch it, so I did, too. I'm a sucker for love stories, so I liked it, of course. D

Just watched the entire Firefly series and then Serenity, after never watching it before. Most people I know always said it was great so decided to give it a try since I'm still waiting on Doctor Who to return. Loved it. Wished there were more though :(

"Do you want to run this ship?" LOL
Serenity was my introduction to the Firefly saga, which is too bad. I can't go back to watching the series after seeing the movie. P

I don't think it's a matter of agreeing or disagreeing. We're talking about my feelings as a viewer. I'm glad to hear you were able to go back and enjoy the series. I, on the other hand, have had the ending spoiled for me without ever having seen "the rest of the book." The loss affected me deeply, and it's not something I can just forget. Watching the series would just increase that sense of loss, and I wouldn't find that enjoyable.
There are other movies which I have only ever watched one time for exactly the same reason. In general, I don't find tragedy to be entertaining.

I guess I used wrong words ;)
But still, I hope you reconsider. Series have enough content to keep one entertained, despite some character stories spoiled by movie.
Oh, and other characters that are just mentioned in movie start to make sense :)

The Odd Life of Timothy Green. Heart warming and touching drama with sprinkles of comedy that make you appreciate the innocence of childhood.

Here we go, I'll start.
Don't Be Afraid Of The Dark (2010) - This movie is a joke. At first it's interesting, then it's boring and then it's just funny/pathetic. And they put it in a "horror" genre. Words are not sufficient. Nosferatu is turning in his grave. 3/10
