Bahrain Grand Prix

Yes, another prediction event. :) (Also running: Amstel Gold Race & 2017 World Snooker Championship events.)

How it works

Predicting the winner would be much too easy in a field of twenty where only four drivers will likely contest most wins. To make things more interesting you will have to predict the top three finishers in the correct order and do so before the start of the qualifying session on Saturday.

Once the season has finished I will create a special winner's event for everyone who correctly predicted a race giving them a shot at some nice games.

Race Preview

Can we have more rain please? :D Bahrain is a night race so expect some pretty pictures.

I'm really hoping on a repeat of last week; Max managed to surprise everyone again. This time I will actually be home and able to watch the race.

Technically you are too late as the Qualifying started 30 minutes ago but no harm, I guess. :)

My prediction was blind because Fox Sports(In my country) transmit qualifying around 8 hours later XD and I don't want to see results on websites.

Race will be live :D

Bottas claims the first pole of his career after Hamilton botches Sector 2!

Where were the Ferraris? Vettel was still a whopping 0.5 behind Bottas and Kimi a further 0.3 behind, with Ricciardo splitting the Ferraris.

Ricciardo's record of never being outqualified by his teammate in Bahrain remains intact with Verstappen only 6th.

Finally, in his first weekend back, Wehrlein demolishes Ericsson in emphatic style to go to Q2, and marginally outqualifies ex-teammate Ocon.

It was a shocking failure for a team of Red Bull's caliber but this was a pretty neat race up and down the order!

I'm kinda surprised that yet again only one person (I think) predicted the correct order though... :P

Yeah, it was a pretty interesting race.

Very sucky that Verstappen's brakes failed as it definitely looked he could compete for the podium (and .Ricciardo couldn't.).

I was going to bet on Australia in Brazil. I didn't. I bet on him for last weekend and he didn't win. I didn't bet on him for yesterdays, and he won. Fun times.
