It's hard to use it :D
= Because on Humble Bundle they added Game Dev bundle with high-price utilities, so everyone getting additional points when someone posting those items. This is direct reason.

Points are generatred depending on number and cost of GAs that are being created. I don't remember exact percentage number but it';s fixed. So each time someone on SG creates a public GA for game worth 10P everyone on SG gets 10P*X%.

Now loom at current Humble Bundle - games worth 100P, 60P for 1$ Price - a lot of people create these GAs to boost their CV. As these GAs cost tens of times more than your usual average GA that is created on SG they also generate tens times more points than usual. Also there are more GAs than usual being made boosting these numbers even more.
