Agreed, dota 2 isnt pay to win at all. LoL in the other hand, paying customers have an advantage. (I play both, but playing LoL often recently.)

sure, if you neglect that almost every champion has been mysteriously "accidentally" overpowered when released. I also wouldn't go as far as to call them free, it will take you significantly more hours to earn enough points to buy a new champ than it would take you to get $5 from somewhere.

Depends really on your taste, I like league of legends but the community really spoils it for me, along with the fact that there are too many heroes being released (and often not being balanced well), and recently I went to playing Dota 2. (I played in the LoL closed beta, so I am quite experienced)
