By "one of them" do you mean a Yu-Gi-Oh gba/gbc/nds/etc game?

YGOPro for offline and online YuGiOh. In offline you can play against bots (not the brightest AI...) and do puzzle mode.
Online allows you to play others in lobby or random matchmaking.
The download is quite large because it includes artwork for thousands of cards. You can choose from any released card to build your deck (as long as it complies with the current banlist), so it's completely free.

Any idea how to make it more limited? I'd like to limit it to, say, the cards available in Yu-Gi-Oh GX Spirit Caller... Since I'm totally familiar with that game and those cards.

if you can spend a bit of cash or trade, panoptes is pretty good, still in EA though http://store.steampowered.com/app/421910/

+1 on PANOPTES. Really liking it this far, despite EA (regular updates though). But I don't play much TGCs. I think the only one I have beside that is Ironclad Tactics... And Talisman!
though I guess it says something that non-enthusiast can get so invested and excited about EA TCG

BoardGameArena A few card games there, I highly recommend Race for the Galaxy.

Game adaptions of Netrunners / Yugioh / Magic:TG / LoTR played via OCTGN / TableTopSim / possibly VASSAL / possibly Tabletopia
You can specifcally look for LCG (Living Card Games) which consist of fixed Core Sets and Expansions (you don't buy boosters but known Addons - e.g. you know its content before) if you're looking for IRL card games. For instance the Lord of the Rings cardgame or Magewars.
Hope those primers help you mate... btw add me on Steam if you plan to do a game or two here and then in MP.

Spellweaver is awesome, you can get everything by just playing and the grinding is not too heavy, if you don't have much time to play you can just login and do the daily quests (the rewards are very good)

Pokemon Trading Card Game is free and you can redeem the codes from any IRL deck or booster to import it to the game, too. You need to be online to play it, but it doesn't have to be against other players, you can battle bots, too (still online).

There's Yu-Gi-Oh! Power of Chaos: Joey the Passion and Yu-Gi-Oh! Power of Chaos: Kaiba the Revenge for PC as well I love all 3 games :D

Yea I realised once I posted that you might have meant the trilogy. There is another online pc game cant remember the name of it but I have it as a retail disc but never used it. Think it's multiplayer only tho it comes with so many entries into duels then you have to start paying.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Power Of Chaos, Man I played the ****out of that game back in the day. That one is offline & you have multiple versions of the game. But it's not free unless you want to set sail, Argh!
Faeria is a nice card game too, it's a mix of Heartstone with settlers of Cathan very nice & free on steam. But you have to log in the server.

I'd like one that is completely free (ie; can be beaten/finished/whatever w/o paying anything) and has lots of cards.
I've played Hearthstone a little bit, but it requires you to be online (not always possible for me). But it also is one of the few games I've found where you can get every card just by playing (a lot mind you, but it's still feasible)
A Yu-Gi-Oh TCG would be fun, I'd love it if it had lots and lots of cards...
Anyone know of any TCG's that are offline and free?
