The sad part is just like EA tried to make the dragon age 2 hate about gay characters the studio and other morons are trying to paint any scepticism of this as a racists being racist rather than the actual issue of two characters who are blood related being now of different races.

The logical choice if they cast the human torch as a black guy would be to cast sue storm as a black woman to ensure some level of continuity.

The fuck? Are you actually mourning the old FF 4 movies? THEY SUCK. Absolutely nothing they make now can be any worse than it. I mean, it had fucking Chris Evans in it, the guy who made the lamest super-hero ever seem cool and not even he could save it. And Jessica Alba, hot as she may be(and, thank God, SHE TOTALLY IS) is a DREADFUL actress. I mean REALLY BAD. She basically ruined those 2 films. Yes, it did strike me as a bit odd too that Johnny and Sue Storm are different races, but screw that. One of them can either be adopted or they can be half siblings. And it will surely be one of two. I refuse to think that the people in charge of this movie will leave this thing unaddressed and expect us to just roll with it. Would it really be that bad if they deviate from the comic-book cannon a bit? Are you really that narrow minded you can't cope with change in the slightest? Seriously? Wait the fuck 'till the movie comes out before judging it...
