I think $80 for a pack that includes two games that are freeware now, two games that are have been available stupidly cheap (especially during Steam Sales.etc) and Skyrim+DLC seems abit of a ripoff tbh.

At the moment I saw this theme I was pretty sure he is talking about this QuakeCon pack http://store.steampowered.com/sale/quakecon1
That includes all Scrolls and much more for just 90$

For that price the physical goods better be high quality, and just maps seem a bit cheapy move.

I think it's very reasonably priced considering Skyrim itself was like >$80 when it came out. Plus in this you get all the games + DLC and some really sweet art and a cool box, I think it's pretty neato. Especially for people like me who over the years have played but don't actually currently own any of TES games. Ahh, the old days of renting Xbox games from Blockbuster.

Gonna be really funny a year after TES:VI comes out and they release a "new & improved" complete elder scrolls collection.

Arena and Daggerfall will run on a DOS emulator? Really? Not even HD remastered?

Daggerfall would be pretty hard to HD remaster considering the in game area is greater than the size of the UK. It would be nice, but unrealistic. Perhaps they could keep the same files but somehow port it to another engine, but I don't know how that would work.

I don't think games were made having a minimum of portability in mind at that time. I agree with you on how hard it would be to remaster it. =/

Except for the fact that most of it is procedurally generated, with the exception of a few essential locations.
It would still not be an easy task given the old code and it's constraints.
I believe that recreating the game on the new engine would be better overall.

That said, having them run on the DOS emulator is cheap. They should have at least let them run natively on newer Windows.

50€ in Europe, not a bad deal (50 euros = 66 USD).

Why they didn't include Battlespire and Redguard? Or Travels for that matter?

I would consider buying that if I didn't own Skyrim and Morrowind already. I bought Morrowind for $20 and Skyrim for $60. If you actually think about it, it's actually a decent deal if you didn't own any of them yet...that being said, you could probably just wait for Steam sales and snipe them down for a cheaper price, just wouldn't get the extras.
