are you in australia or nz?
im in nz and this morning when i loaded up steam i noticed there was a play button next to my arkham city that wasnt there last night - i thought they must have finally realised what BS it was that our unlock was 4 DAYS after the US one, so must have changed our release date... was VERY surprised that i could no longer see the game in the steam search - used an old link and found that it wasnt available in my region anymore!
very strange... but yeah the game still unlocked fine for me and i can play it ok... WB really has done everything in its power to screw over NZ and australian customers... first the $100 usd price tag on steam, and now this... utterly pathetically insulting really.
if i wasnt so lazy id go burn down the hobbit set to teach them a lesson on what it feels like to be screwed over :D

It's a Steamworks game on Steam and yes, it was there at least a month ago.
Now I have no desire to play this game.

What the??? I checked store page 10 hours ago without a problem and now it's no longer available. Stupid publishers.

It's not available to me either, I live in Argentina (South America) and I always end up in the Europe release zone (I never understood why).

Unavailable in Romania. This is silly, many games wich I wanted to buy are blocked for me.

Call me crazy, but I don't see the rationale in restricting your customers' ability to purchase your product.

Actually I think this is related to GFWL. And I know B:AC doesn't use GFWL on Steam but lately most GFWL enabled games didn't show up in my region. I can buy GFWL enabled games from other DD services but not from Steam.
EDIT: Just checked Steamforums and looks like B:AC uses GFWL on Steam(WTF WB and Rocksteady???).

Not just GFWL but Securom on top of that, plus Steam as DRM within a DRM within a DRM... BRUMMMMMMMM
Seriously though, hearing about this and all of the issues on PC turned AC from a must buy upon release to something I might pick up in a Steam sale a year or so down the line. My wallet is grateful. Meanwhile my husband pirates it and enjoys it for free despite all of the DRM... Good job, WB!

Available in Brazil. As if there were so many Brazillians that will buy this game.

yeah well thats the norm for NZ. publishers - with the help of steam - have a stranglehold on our pricing. i would have thought digital would mean more competition and fairer prices, but no... the publishers have valve in their pocket, so they can keep prices ludicrously high.

I got curious since I noticed the 20% discount offer was no longer being shown, figuring it had something to do with the game being out in North America.
Check out if it's the same for you. Here's the game page. This feels kinda like how EA and Epic blocked people off from buying Bulletstorm when it got released.
So strange when publishers only do this with one particular digital retailer.
