1) What's the history of SteamTrades.com vs trading on SteamGifts? Were they once separate?

2) Why did trades "Per Month" drop by 85% since the 2013 peak?
EDIT: Probably smarter to look at the Feedback chart which only fell by half.

Ah, thanks. I guess trading was much more worthwhile when some games had very different prices across regions, but others didn't.

Yes, it was two separate, though kinda brother-sites until SG2.

The peaks are obviously the time of sales - maybe they little worse, active users getting the cheaper games - then region locking happened in 2014 December that sealed the deal.
