Both people are currently suspended so some action has been taken. Strange giveaways are still up though. 🤔

I do not think that looking at the description of 666 GA per day as precaution to eventually catch something like this pro active is worth the effort.
If you just spend 6 second per page on average you look at a timeframe close to 1 h of awefull boring clicking most of the time per day.
Seems a bit frontloaded given how rare those occurences are.

I did present my case a bit unfortunately. As ClapperMonkey discovered already both giveaway creators are suspended right now. Logically the question arises why the giveaways aren't deleted then. Maybe it takes the power of cg in all his glory or a hypermoderator for the task?

The autojoiners and users that are too lazy or too dumb to read descriptions use a bunch of points.
Sounds like a positive thing for me.
Without the Autojoiner problem i would say, yes the GAs should be deleted in one go too IF the mods can still show the gifter which problem (wrong type of GA) brought them the trouble.

Given how trivially easy it is to make a Microsoft account, I don't see how this ends up being a major problem even if the giveaways aren't deleted. They should of course be in a dedicated thread rather than posted as official giveaways, but it's not like we're dealing with malicious behavior that causes real problems for people.

One problem is that SteamGifts checks our accounts against our Steam accounts and our previous SG wins, not against any other game platforms. So if we win this giveaway for a MS Store code, we can't enter any more giveaways for this game (on Steam), and if anyone (either a user, a moderator, or an SGTools rule-set) checks to see if we've redeemed all of the games we've won, this one will show up as having not been redeemed, so the winner will appear to be delinquent.

Funny that I entered the two giveaways even after reading the descriptions. Just slipped my mind that it doesn't really work that way. I blame the plethora of other places with giveaways for different platforms. And well, my brain too 🤦♂️

key is for Mirosoft Store as stated in GA description
One would think a moderator would glance over the current giveaways eventually but that's asking too much I guess. If those GA's aren't taken down it only adds to the workload of support sorting out the aftermath.
Before anyone suggests to create a ticket in the category "Other" I'd argue those GAs end sooner than the average processing time of that kind of tickets.
