Walking Dead Saves

So I've asked around and no one else seemed to have this issue so I decided to ask here. Ever since the second last update (the one where the new DLC was revealed), I had troubles with the game. It only ran in compatibility mode and my saves were deleted. As much as I like the game, I really don't want to restart the entire thing. Anyone else have the same issue? My save is wiped and I can't find it anywhere.
