That mug looks awesome, but I'm most excited for the autograph. That extra 50 cents makes the one on ebay just out of reach. Also it is good to know that I might possibly not be the only one that thinks about the barcelona girl from time to time.

Well there was this dinosaur, you see, and then something with a janitor, I can't really remember, but I guess the dinosaur ate him, or maybe the other way round, since they were about the same size. Though the dinosaur had bigger teeth. But the janitor had a knife and a fork, so I guess they were onequal footing. Also, I just ate a tiny sausage. It was so tiny it was basically eaten before I even started.

I used to write good stories, I just can't now. Maybe is because I grow old, and forgot how to write nice things.
Anyways, I would love to win that awesome mug, maybe drinking coffee in it, will bring back my writing skills, you never know

A professor stood before a philosophy class and had some items in front of him. When the class began, wordlessly, he took a large flower pot and filled it with golf balls. He then asked the students if the jar was full. They agreed that it was.
Then the Professor took pebbles and poured them into the jar. He shook the jar gently back and forth and the pebbles slipped into the open areas between the golf balls. He then asked the students again if the jar was full. They agreed.
Next the professor picked up a bag of bird sand and poured it into the pot. After shaking the sand filled the smallest remaining clearances. He in turn asked the students if the jar was full. The students responded with a unanimous "yes"!
The professor then produced two cans of beer from his pocket and poured the entire contents into the jar. The students laughed.
"Well," said the professor, as the laughter subsided, "I want you to recognize that this jar presentation of your life: The golf balls are the important things in your life: your family, your children, your health, so passionate aspects, which, if everything would be lost in your life, and only they remained, your life still fulfilling did. "
"The pebbles are the other things that matter, like your job, your house, your car, ... The sand is everything else, the small stuff. If you put the sand first into the jar," continued the Professor, "then there is no room for the pebbles or the golf balls.
The same goes for your life. If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff, you will never have room for the important things. Pay attention to the things that compromise your luck.
Play with the kids, take your time for your financial planning, take your partner out to dinner. There will still be time to clean the house and fix the disposal.
Be first on the golf balls, the things that really matter! Set your priorities. The rest is just sand! "
One of the students raised her hand and inquired what the beer represented for. The professor smiled, "I'm glad you asked for it because it is to show you that no matter how full your life may seem, there is always room for a beer..."
Cheers

I have no stories to tell, but if I win the mug maybe I could carry it around with me until it becomes part of a new story, so thanks for the giveaway and count me in. :)

Two of my mobiles died due to water. The first one, an old Nokia brick, after a carnival night in which it was raining cats and dobs. The second one, at St John's Eve, I forgot I had my htc in my pocket and I went to the water. Funny thing is that the Nokia resurrected after some months and I could sell it to a shop. That nokia was a fkin survivor, it fell down from different heights during years (it was from my sister before). Its battery lasted several weeks, when someone called you it vibrated and started to flash in coloured lights. You could personalize it too, adding a piece of paper/cardboard with some design. I had something similar to this in the mine:

Wow, this is a cool project! It looks like something you'd buy from the gift shop, if SteamGifts had one. Count me in.

Following the tradition of this and this, I decided to do something fun like that again, except this time I made some changes.
Now instead of a postcard, one lucky winner will go home with this super generic black coffee mug.
As seen here: super lame boring coffee mug
But how generic it is exactly? Well, pretty generic if you're gonna use it for cold beverage, however things get far more interesting once you add some coffee to the formula or hot chocolate or just me standing next to it - so pretty much anything that's considered hot.
And now: ultra cool white custom SG logo coffee mug
That's right, you are now a proud owner of one-of-a-kind, custom made, non generic Steamgifts coffee mug. Except you have to win it first.
The rules are simple, just leave any coherent comment in this thread, could be a simple "thanks" or "count me in" or you could tell me a story about that time you met a cute foreign girl on Barcelona beach called Iris and you had a really wonderful time together and she gave you a phone number before leaving but then you went for one last swim and completely forgot about that number in back of your swim shorts and the water washed away the ink so the number was lost for good. It's been 10 years since then, every now and then before bedtime you think about her, asking yourself if she was the one. Maybe, just maybe things would be different if you left that number on a towel or somewhere before heading out to the waters. But now you will never know......so yeah, as I said, a simple "thanks" or anything else should suffice.
Few things to point out though:
The giveaway will remain open till Sunday next week (August 8) and it is starting riiiiiiiiiiiight about..... NOW!
EDIT 1: Since few people asked me about this, yes it is a thermal mug that changes color with temperature - black/cold > white/hot. These are not two pictures of different mugs (as some actually assumed so).
