What Your Favorite 2D Fight Game You Own On Steam?
I probably should of just left off 2D from the poll question. There's no way to edit it though so it is what it is.

You left off the best fighting game on Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/546390/
I prefer to use arcade sticks. I have old consoles w/ arcade sticks for Sega Saturn, Neo-Geo etc. so that's how I always played them. :)

Skullgirls because it's the only game on the list I own on Steam (though I only played it on Xbox) :p

Fighting games are one of the few genres I never got into for whatever reason.
But I do know an awful fighting game when I see one. Shadow: War of Succession:

I voted BlazBlue Centralfiction, even thought I don't have that one yet. I have all the prior ones.
I also like the Guilty Gear games and the MK ones.
One day I WILL own Injustice 2, though. I LOVED the first.
Skullgirls, too. Just need to get the 2nd Encore pack.

Thanks, but Fanatical doesn't seem to like the card I have. So I gave up on them. Besides, I'm not playing th egame right now so it isn't really a priority.

I don't know, man. I played The King of Fighters back in the day - on arcade, ps1 and then ps2. Nothing comes close to those. Street Fighter is and always was like the dumbed down version of the old The King of Fighters games. I even tried TKoF 14 on Steam when it was on a free weekend and it sucks balls. Not only that but the game (and the franchise) is dead. SNK is abhorrent when it comes to taking care of its most valuable franchise. Mortal Kombat and the derived (Injustice) suck ass because it's so slow and you can't even get a meaningful combo going. I'm downloading Street Fighter 5 now that it's free to give it another try. At least this one gets proper care from Capcom (even though I despise the character dlc practices they do with this one). I used to love Tekken as a kid. I played Tekken 1, 2, 3 and 5. Had a blast with all of them. It's been so long since I last played a Tekken game, maybe one day I'll give Tekken 7 a try.

Was looking forward to MK11, but it turned out to be SJW garbage w/ lots of microtransactions and a poor PC port.
So TEKKEN 7 remains my favorite, even though there's not Team Battle mode.

Still waiting for Virtua Fighter 2 to come to Steam. P

Oh, duh... I already own it on Steam. Let me reword what I just posted.
Still waiting for a chance to play my copy of Virtua Fighter 2 on Steam. P

Please don't, the Mega Drive version was so terrible -_-
PS3 / 360 has the arcade version though, I of course own it on both. Yay for forgetting games I already own.

Tekken 7 and BB Centralfiction are my current favorites, taking a break from Injustice 2.

Really?? I tried to play with a keyboard and I'm not sure how people do it. I normally play on an Xbox One controller.
I recently got the HORI Real Arcade Pro 4 Kai but had to return it due to the square restrictor plate that comes with it made things really off when trying to do moves. I see why so many people choose to mod it and put the Sanwa Octagonal restrictor plate in it. The Hayabusa buttons felt a little weird to me but that wasn't a big deal and could of gotten used to them.

I am weird though. I own a racing wheel, and I still prefer to use keyboard. For fighting, I thought I would like the fight stick, but it has nostalgia value, but not any better gameplay value. Certain things were easier to do in keyboard, others in the fight stick. But overall, I prefer the feel of keyboard.
I bought the Qanba Drone Joystick mainly due to the price.

There's a really good deal on Fanatical right now for GUILTY GEAR Xrd -REVELATOR- (+DLC Characters) + REV 2 All-in-One (does not include optional DLCs) for $13.49.

Fanatical has some good sales going on right now for fighting games for under $5 either at the historical lowest or very close to it.
Melty Blood Actress Again Current Code for $4.99.
Skullgirls Complete Edition for $1.49.
Battle Fantasia -Revised Edition- for $2.99
CHAOS CODE -NEW SIGN OF CATASTROPHE- for $4.99.

I enjoy fighting games, but I try to get them on consoles. Gotta have local play with friends on a large TV and listen to people blame everything but themselves when they lose. >:D

l haven't done local on console in a long time. I used to piss my friends off in Tekken 3 and beat the crap out of them with Gon lol

I started on fighting games with the Mega Drive, playing stuff like Super Street Fighter II (which I owned both the JP and PAL versions of), Mortal Kombat III and Fatal Fury. Really got into Virtua Fighter and SoulCalibur on the PS2 though. After all of those, playing anywhere but a console would be weird.

I loved SFII and MKIII. I think I was better at MKIII on console though, Kitana was my main.

The only fighting game I actually cared to learn the combos is Blazblue, although central fiction and cross tag are the ones I have yet to experience. Hopefully they get 75% off this summer sale. Been waiting too long.

At the beginning of the month Street Fighter V released the Summer 2019 Character Bundle which featured Lucia, E. Honda and Poison. Did anyone pick it up? What are your thoughts on it?

Championship Edition for Street Fighter is available for pre-purchase for $25 if you own the base game.

There's a limit of only 20 options so I've added games that are on Steam that have been used over the past several years in competitive EVO tournaments as well as some other titles.
