Bump, and I'll include my comment here, so anyone not seeing the first giveaway's comment can still enjoy:

Did you ever listen to Iron Maiden - Fear of the Dark?
Because it really sounds like "fear of the duck". Maybe Gary Larson, from the comic The Far Side (origin of anatidaephobia), got his inspiration from the song, just look at the lyrics: "I have constant fear that something's always near" and "I have a phobia that someone's always there" and of course "You've sensed that something's watching you"

I couldn't find any sources asking Gary Larson about his inspiration, so it is just a thought.
I have learned something however, another phobia coined by Gary Larson in/for his comic: luposlipaphobia: "The fear of being pursued by timber wolves around a kitchen table whilst wearing socks on a newly waxed floor."

And since I'm typing this much anyway, time for some etymology (noun: the knowledge of the origin of words)
"phobia" From Latin, comes from Greek "phóbos", meaning fear
"antidae" is Latin for ducks, geese, or other water fowl, from Latin "anas" duck, and "idae" which is a transcription of the Greek suffix
"lupos" accusative plural of Latin "lupus" wolf
"lipa" not really used like this, most probably derived from lipo, from Greek "lipos" meaning fat, tallow

(Yes, I did look up most of this, some I knew) (And yes, I transcribed the Greek, so you don't have to know how to read Greek)

I hope you learned something, or at least enjoyed the comment. I know I did both.
