I have a similar SG story. I registered here on 26/05/2014 but I thought the site wasn't kosher then on 10/11/2014 after a game trade I was asked to do a +rep on SG trades. Then some time later I did again two trades and I read the FAQ and entered my first giveaway on 01/02/2015.

Since we have CV and Real CV, here's some Real CakeDay too!
Because yes! My Real CakeDay is Jan 31, the day of my very first entry.
My first visit was like "Wow, another scam site about free stuff...". Didn't even put a single entry and left SG.
Many months after thah episode I clicked a SG link from another forum, read the rules and the addiction began.
It's still a CakeDay, so time to celebrate! Level: 3+ / Ending: Jan 31
